California Naturals Sensitive Scalp Shampoo, 16.5 fl oz

I always had hard time to find a gentle shampoo for my sensitive scalp. California naturals sensitive scalp shampoo has really great results. It gently cleanse the scalp, does not strip my hair or scalp and hydrates the hair. It calms my sensitive scalp and leaves hair soft, smooth and clean. It is fragrance free and feels amazing. I'd definitely buy again.

[California Naturals sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program.] I have some problem dry, flakey spots on my scalp. This helped more in one use than special medicated shampoos did. A lot less flaking and itching. Very mild scent, almost bland, which is nice. Easy to use bottle pump. Suds up nicely and rinses easily. Would highly recommend giving it a try.

I was given the opportunity to test the California Naturals Sensitive Scalp Shampoo in exchange for an honest review. The bottle is designed very nicely and fits well in our shower. I like the pump, which has a wide flat surface. The texture of the shampoo is very nice and barely has any fragrance. As my family is prone to itchy scalps, I encouraged my husband to give it a try. After one week of use, he happily declared that the itch he had was nearly gone! After a few more days, he told me the itch had completely left. He then decided to try it in his beard, which can make him very uncomfortable. Within the same time frame, his itch on his chin completely disappeared. This shampoo has become a game-changer in our home! After trying many popular brands for sensitive and itchy scalps/beards, we have finally found a product that actually works. We will be buying this in the future, as well as the conditioner.

Usually I struggle to find the right shampoo for my hair. My scalp goes through phases. I struggle especially with dandruff. And after using the California Naturals Sensitive Scalp Shampoo for a week. I am now dandruff free. I had no irritation with the shampoo. And it's fragrance free!! Usually that's what makes my hair stiff. Now my hair looks healthy and I have a clean non irritated or itchy scalp.

My scalp tends to get itchy and sometimes also quite irritated and even some breakouts happen. This shampoo is so gentle and it didn't irritate my scalp at all. It even cut down on the itchiness. I like that there's no added fragrance. I "double cleanse" due to oily hair and it work very well with this product. The first lather isn't so super strong but the seconds one is on point. I would consider purchasing this product again in the future. I received this product for free in return for my honest review.

I have a sensitive scalp and a sensitive nose. I can't do heavy fragrance and this really doesn't have a fake fragrance at all. It's cost effective and the brand says they're "natural." It doesn't cleanse quite as well as other shampoos who advertise similar uses but this one isn't as stripping either for the length of my hair. I don't think I would repurchase just because there are so many options on the market. BUT this was a great introduction for me to the brand and I will be checking out their other hair care and body care products.

I don't have a sensitive scalp but I can see how someone who does would love this shampoo. There is barely any scent - I smell a very faint scent of green tea. The shampoo lathers up nicely and cleans my hair well. The bottle was tough to open when I first got it.

So, after using this shampoo for some time, I have a handful of positives; the scent is clean, and simple (not overwhelming at all), it leaves my hair soft and residue free, which I love. However, I have a bit of a psoriasis on my head, which I was hoping that this would help with that. It definitely soothed it some, but not quite to the degree I was hoping. All that being said, if this was priced similar to other products I've used for a similar reason, I would go for this one, simply because other products made for those issues typically have a much stronger and unpleasant smell.

It's honestly whatever. I haven't read other reviews, but personally I didn't like it. It left my hair hard and stiff. It was hard to rinse out. Had it not done that, I would've rated it 5 stars. My hair didn't feel dirty or nasty after though, only reason I'm rating it 3 stars.
