California Umbrella Casa Market Tilt Olefin Patio Umbrella, Multiple Colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the natural color and it's likes great. With this color I am less worried about color fading over rime. The fabric is thick but soft touch, doesn't feel plastic-like. The umbrella is of a reasonable weight, can be carried around by one adult. The built is quite good and it feels sturdy. There are only 2 parts to put together, very simple. You have to buy the base separately. I love the auto tilt function. It's so easy and useful. You just keep cranking the handle and there is a point of resistance that you need to get pass before the tilting start.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this umbrella is so nice and it's very good quality. It's hard to find good quality canvas on umbrellas that will last multiple summers. I live in California where the temps get up to 109 in the summer. The sun blazes very hard and having an umbrella is a must. This umbrella provides a good amount of shade and keeps the sun out. I love the color and the crank makes it so easy to tilt the umbrella wherever I need it to go. The tilt on the umbrella provides shade to my son when he's playing on the swing set . I feel like this umbrella will keep up with the brutal summers we have. Definitely recommend this umbrella setup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Vento Patio Umbrella from California Umbrella is a nice looking umbrella. The 7.5' size is good to cover a set of patio chairs but a larger size might be better for an outdoor table with several chairs. The umbrella was easy to assemble. It only involved putting the two poles together by fitting the metal tab button with the corresponding hole. I like how the umbrella is tall enough to open without having to bend over much to avoid being hit by the ribs going up. The pole and ribs feel well made. They are not overly heavy so that it is difficult to maneuver or I fear they will tip over easily but it is solid enough to last a long time. The housing of the crank however is plastic and not as nice as the rest of the pole but I don't really mind. I was not really sure about the bronze aluminum pole and feared it would look really garish metallic but it is not at all. It is basically a brown shade. The umbrella looks classic and expensive. It would be appropriate for many occasions and settings. The Sunbrella fabric feels and looks like good quality as is expected from Sunbrella. The natural shade is a good neutral and off white canvas color that looks amazing against the blue sky and garden plants. I like that it blends in with the garden and existing light colored furniture cushions. Hopefully the fabric will last through many seasons of use. The tilt is useful to shade when the sun is on the side rather than up above. It also helps provide more privacy. The auto tilt is done with the crank by turning the handle as you would to open the umbrella. Once the umbrella has opened completely, it will start to tilt if you crank it further. This is quite useful for people who are short and cannot easily reach up on a tilt button umbrella. I am unfortunately not a fan of the auto tilt. It requires more force and strength than I expected to use the crank and initially felt scared I was going to snap something by the amount of resistance I was pushing against. The auto tilt is convenient but the longevity remains to be seen and perhaps is not good for those with less arm strength. Overall, a nice outdoor umbrella to protect from the sun if you don't mind the auto tilt crank.
