I have to admit that I wasn't really looking forward to this game due to My disliking against Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer and then the utmost disappointment of Modern Warfare 3, so I'd given up all hopes that Infinity Ward could ever make a game that would feel like Call of Duty 4. That was until I watched the trailer for Ghosts "Extinction" game mode which piqued My interest so I started watching gameplay footage that My friend linked Me from YouTube. And after all that I decided to give it a try, And to my utmost surprise the game was really fun. I really enjoyed the Single Player Story and Extinction is really fun but the Multiplayer is definitely the best part of the game for Me just for the fact that it brought back all those awesome memories of playing Call of Duty 4, Sure the game isn't perfect but it's the best Call of Duty I've played in a long time. So if you liked Call of Duty 4 then this is the game for you.
We have had nothing but a great experience with this game! Heck, even I play with my low level fighting skill, but I hang in there for a mom! lol! We ordered our games online and they came in a timely manner. Ghosts, graphics, story line, and campaigns with the amazing new maps, and oh the dog - I love to fight with my pet, is all amazing! I am more excited than my kids, staying up late into the night, not doing homework....sigh. Overall, great buy, entertainment and a realistic story line that gives you the words....to be continued...you have to buy the game to find out what I am saying.
I think this is num,ber 1000 or so in the Call Of Duty line, but they have not lost their touch. The maps are bit large but overall it is a great game just like all the rest! Great story and awesome graphics to boot!
The game lives up to all of the commercial hype. Fast action, great new features. Create a Soldier is amazing. This is a MUST buy.
christmas present. walmart guarantee dec 24 but didnt make it til dec 25. kids are older so they understood. walmart did make up for with a $50 credit. but kids were excited they got it christmas day and been happy since. only complaint from my 16 yr old son cuz his 10 year old brother ALOT better at game and says he cheating. its all in fun : )
It's gameplay is good and has really good graphics and i love the weapons and controls and extinction is awesome with aliens and all new squads and the multiplayer is good.
I've been a fan of CoD for years, when the first Modern Warfare came out the only issue I had was that the Campaign was way to short. Unfortunately it was the same with this one as well. It was a good, action packed story line, but I basically blew through it in a couple of hours. However, only multiplayer is pretty good.
Purchased two 1 for me and 1 for the kids. Downloaded mine first so I could surprise the kids. Very disappointed in this all hype game. I took the unopened game back for a refund. Black Ops 2 is way superior. The multiplayer is sooooo generic. VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!
unless you like to die every time you spawn , and like emptying a clip into someone and he turns and shoots you, or stops from an all out run on the other side of the map and turns to one shot you, and so on, this game is not for you. It seems to me that x-box could do a bit more to keep out the cheaters so the majority of us who pay for the game and gold account could enjoy the game as well...
This is by far and away the worst Call of Duty I have ever played. The worst over all flow of a video game maps are terrible. I payed 39.99 for it through Wal-Mart which is a good price, but this game is not even worth 39.99.
