Callahan 24" 3 Drawer Base Cabinet, Black

Very heavy and sturdy cabinet. It didn't take my handy husband long to put it together. The wood is much sturdier than I was expecting. It's quite heavy, so build it where you plan to use it. The drawers fit my swimsuits and underwear, and it fit in our closet under my hung clothes. It's about 2 ft wide and 3 ft tall.

The Systembuild Sylvan black cabinet is very nice and sturdy. It took me and my husband less than an hour to assemble, as the instructions were very clear and all pre-drilled holes were correct. It is heavy and I think it will last a long time. I'm very happy with it.

I am happy with this cabinet. It was fairly easy to assemble but I did have help for my husband. It would have been hard to do alone but not impossible. The drawers close smooth. The top drawer is smaller than the two bottom which is great. I use it in my kitchen to store my silicone baking mats, extra pans, and the top drawer is used for the kids snacks. Just ignore my mess sitting around the cabinet. I was in the process of junk slinging.

First off if you are looking for a drawer that is made from solid wood. You can move on along. Every square inch is pressed together saw dust. The overall finish is not bad for what it is. The top is inset. I felt like this was backwards. The bottom should have been inset and the top overlapping. Believe me i checked several time to make sure i was reading the instructions correctly. What i found most ridiculous is the back panel. It is a sheet of cardboard that you nail on with finishing nails. Nails are about 3/4 inch long. Difficult at best to hammer in with fingers that stick past the nail head. Yes you read right. Cardboard! I nailed them all in, as the directions said. As they insured me it was necessary for sturdiness. Was a few steps i had to repeat twice. The bottom that i thought the finished side should be to the outside was not correct. Did not see my fault until all together. Was not about to take it apart for that one thing. Says you need no less than 2 people to assemble. I did it by myself. 3+ hours. Drawers slide easy and it will work for storing some of my tools. If you want to challenge yourself and aren't expecting high-end furniture, this might be for you.

This three drawer base is basically a dresser. I don't see any difference between this and a three drawer dresser. This came in a ton of little parts as you can see in my picture, and it took me about an hour to put together. I did end up needing a hand drill, as using the screwdriver actually gave me a blister, there were so many little parts. It was fairly easy to follow the directions, however, and it was put together seamlessly with no overall problems. The materials are 100% particle board, so it is extremely heavy. There are three drawers, the top one being the smallest and then two deeper ones. I love the color and sweetness of this product. Technically this is for a garage system and can be used as a base cabinet, but I am using it as extra storage in my daughter's room for clothes. The surface is laminated black and it will clean easily and hold up to scratches, so it would be great for a garage as well. I'm not extremely satisfied with the material that it's made of, as I feel like particle board is pretty cheap and should not ever get wet, which I feel like could happen easily in a garage. I also don't feel like the drawers are lined up perfectly, but I put it together just exactly as the direction said it should. Overall I'm satisfied with this product, but it is pretty cheaply made and I'm not sure how long it's going to last, but it does what it should and would be good for storage of lighter objects. The drawer bases are a very thin piece of particle board, and it would not be good to hold anything very heavy. If you're looking for something for storage of lighter objects this would be great.
