Callaway Epic Max Driver 12 Regular Flex Cypher 40 Graphite Shaft

I had a driver like this that I broke the shaft on and i wanted another one like it except in a 9 degree, I got one in four days and it is just like new.

I am a (very) senior golfer looking for more carry and distance in my driver. The Max, in combination with the Cypher Forty shaft, has provided me both, with good accuracy. I purchased a 9 wood as well, and it performs very well. I must mention that I loved the trade-in bonus program offered at the time.

The Maverick Max released a year ago was quite a leap from face stability and forgiveness points. Just a year later Callaway has upped the ante and produced a significant upgrade. Better in all aspects with lower spin compared to last year's. Premium price, slow delivery and limited shaft selection are negatives. The adjustable weight adds a lot to fine tune flight. I recommend a lower loft (can adjust down but only by 1.5 degrees). Highly recommended.

I had the Mavrik Max Driver and 3 wood in my bag and loved both. When Callaway came out with the Epic Max I really wasn't interested because the Mavrik Max performed so well. The pro at Edwin Watts Golf offered me a great trade in if I wanted the Epic Max so I decided to try them out. All I can say is wow. I hit the driver straighter and longer than the Mavrik . It is really very forgiving and long. The 3 wood I am hitting the same distance as the Mavrik but find it to be more forgiving on off center hits. All in all I am glad I upgraded. You should too, you won't be disappointed.

My fitting on the swing monitor took over an hour. After trying different brands, shafts, and lofts, I was most compatible with the Epic Max Driver and 3 wood. I was skeptical because I've been comfortable using other brands. I recieved and played with them today and was extremely happy. I didn't miss a fairway and reached most of the par 5's in 2. Did I mention I had the best round in years? The only downside is now my wife wants a new driver and I'm afraid she'll out drive me.

I was hesitant on buying the club, but I'm glad I did.

This is my third driver in your epic series, my previous to have been fantastic. This one is unbelievable, Straighter Longer and unbelievably forgiving . Bad swings are finding fairways. You guys knocked it out of the park this time. The sound and feel when I caught it in the sweet spot amazing. Thank you Calloway for being the best in the business . My buddy who plays the Ls model loves his as well , showing me y'all get it , You have clubs for players and hacks like me . To my fellow golf addicts who are looking for a new amazing driver this could be the one for you .. I first bought the ping 425 max and after two rounds returned it took the 100 buck hit and picked up this epic max , it performs better at every level . I have never bothered to review a golf club in the past , today I am going out of my way to give this Driver a huge thumbs up !!!!!! If you want your drives long and straight put this club in your bag

I wasn't happy with my 1 year old driver of a different brand so i had a driver fitting and the Epic Max was recommended. Even though i had tried a friend's Maverick and liked it i ordered the Epic Max with a 1 inch shorter shaft. With the Epic Max I have gained 10-20 yards with straighter drives and a much better dispersion.

I received my pre owned callaway driver and am still adjusting to it. I was disappointed that the club did not include the adjustment tool

Hit it with the Red Ventus shaft, not impressed. I have hit other drivers with more distance and control that the Epic Max 2021!
