I was in the market for a driver upgrade after starting to play golf about a year ago. I upgraded from an old mid-2000s Nike driver. This driver was a definite upgrade in technology. Obviously, it felt different since newer drivers like this feel more plastic and lightweight than my NikeSQ. But, I immediately gained about 20 yards in carry distance on good shots and the feel on good shots is really soft and nice. The forgiveness on this driver is not the greatest since bad shots will still hook a lot but not a deal braker. Most importantly, I got a "very good" condition driver and it seriously looked fresh and seemed to only have been used a handful of times. The face was clean and scratch free. I am very happy with my decision and will likely come back in future when I am looking to buy other clubs.
A much better driver for me that the Mavrik I'd been using. This one has a more balanced and fluid swing and is much easier to control and hit straight with good distance than others I've used.
Purchased this for my father, he is 68 and brand new to golf. He absolutely loved it, at 12 degrees of loft he was able to get some much needed height and extra distance, was very happy with this purchase. I hit it a few times (4.3 handicap and play often) and liked it so much I bought one with a different flex but the same loft. Looks great at address and easy to launch, might even shelve my new Qi35 and play this for a while. Status was "like new" and arrived with the factory plastic, quality control from this site is unbeatable.
Over time, I have purchased 8 of these drivers in various lofts and shaft specs for myself and some friends. There is no driver with better price/quality.
Hit almost everyone's newest models but loved my old Epic, so purchased this Epic Speed in like new condition. And it was not just like new, It was new. Love the distance and accuracy I get with this club,. Forgiving but can still work the ball.
My purchased driver did not work out like I was hoping it would, but the return process was excellent. Very clear communications as my refund was issued promptly. Thank you
awesome!
In the hitting bays I am always skeptical, but once I got this bad boy to the course, I was just blasting Bombs down the middle! They feel great when you hit it center and it is VERY FORGIVING when you hit off center thanks to the AI technology. I did order the shaft to be at 45" with grip because that gives me more control of the club. I feel confident and have been hitting straighter and longer drives.
Profile : An old man 73 year old with mid 80's driver as I got the club with a Hzrdus Smoke io10 in senior flex The head is great surprisingly forgiving, straight as an arrow, with the shaft I selected just 180 carry and about 190 - 195 total DO NOT fool urself this shaft in 5.0 is still as stout as most other shafts in “R”. It takes quite a bit to fully load I should have looked at the project X chart !!! So, I just ordered Cyper 50 in senior that is also a project X model but much better suited for a senior Drop ur pride and perceptions get the lightest, softest shaft u can control for max performance I'll report back in about 1 month when I can report results with the Cypher
Global rated this club "very good", so I bought it. When I received it, it had multiple nicks and abrasions along the top where the crown meets the face. The same Epic Speed club from Callaway preowned would have cost me about $20 less and, judging from their reputation, would have been in better condition. The club was clean, however. I will buy from someone else next time.
