Bought to replace my 3 wood because I've grown fond of the hybrid shape at address and lost complete confidence staring at a fairway wood. 16* turned down to 15 and this thing is the most solid club I've ever hit.
A year later and this is the most important club in my bag. I can hit it almost as far as my driver but much more consistently and without slicing. It is my go-to club 190-220+. I have the callaway elyte driver and elyte mini driver and like my super hybrid 2 much much more. I wish they would make a Super Hybrid 1. I love this club so much I bought a second as a backup because as long as I am golfing this will be in my bag. PS - dear Callaway please pretty please make a super hybrid 1
The feel of this club is very comfortable and balanced. I've played four rounds and my shots have been accurate with great distance. My swing has been effortless. Let the club head do its job and you will see results. Highly recommend this hybrid for your bag.
I purchased this club 3 weeks ago with the hopes of putting a hybrid wood to give me more options in place of the traditional wood. I must say I'm thrilled with the performance, easy to hit, straight, height and distance, it has been a game changer for me. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to add an easy hitting hybrid, very appealing to the eye.
The Paradym Super Hybrid is an excellent club, coupled with the stock UST Mamiya Recoil Dart shaft. As a golfer that is 70 (10 hcp) but fit, I am looking for distance and accuracy. I'd lost it with age in hybrids, and find consistency tough with fairway woods. This solves everything. So pleased with the 4 hybrid, I now have a 5 hybrid too. My first par 3 tee shot went 197 yards (winter in coastal CA), almost climbing the false front, just a couple feet from the green. That got my attention and was not an outlier. Highly recommend.
Incredibly easy to hit and easily gets into the air! I agree that it not easy to get the ball to settle, but my days of flying it onto the greens on par 5's from middle and backs tees are mostly behind me. Really next club as I've never had confidence with fairway woods off the tee or from the fairway.
This club is a perfect replacement for my 3W. I was inconsistent with my 3W, now I am consistently hitting fairways and finding the green in 2 shots on Par 5s. The club has a larger footprint than the 3W which's it easier to hit and gives me the confidence I lacked with 3W. I highly recommend if you're struggling with fairway woods.
Bought this to replace a Cobra 5H. The cobra had a more hollow sound which made it feel cheap and didn't give great feedback. This Callaway is solid with phenomenal feedback in comparison. It is slightly heavy, but not so much that it throws off my swing mechanics.
I like the club, good distance, control and ball flight, all good for my game. However, it came with a white and blue Paradym headcover not the black and white Paradym Super Hybrid headcover. If I spend that kind of money on the club, it should come with the correct headcover, not just any Paradym headcover.
Hybrids are seldom part of my set. I've not typically been able to trust them in key moments on the golf course, as the around the world to the left shot is always lurking. The Paradigm Super Hybrid may be changing that. I really like that I can roll the face open even when it's on the ground and it stills sits flush, really helping with confidence and control. It also launches high and long for me, feels really solid, and is more consistent than the iron it replaced. For me, the Paradigm Super Hybrid has been a welcome addition to the bag.
