I absolutely love these iron. I had purchased apex 21 before these and couldn't get a feel for them. Soon as I went to these new irons loved from day one.
I replaced my Callaway X2 Hots with these irons. I am getting an additional 15-20 yards per iron - in fact, I'm having to relearn how to hit my wedges because I'm flying so many greens!!
Bought these a month ago to replace my Ping g irons that I have loved for 9 years. The Rogue st max os lite irons are easier to hit, deadly accurate, and hit the ball higher than the pings (that includes every ping model after the g's, because I've tried each model to try and upgrade). I'm 74, have a 7 handicap, and have had trouble going to a senior shaft. The rogue st lites fit me great with the cypher graphite 5.5 regular shafts. ‘Be read that some owners have said the clubs have a hook tendency and I haven't seen that yet. In fact, even though they have a little more offset than the pings, my shot shape is a nice soft draw with both sets. I shot 72 withe the rogue lites two days ago and had two shots that I almost holed on par 3's. Wonderful irons for any golfer!
I first tried the Rogue ST Max OS irons which are great clubs but the Rogue ST Max OS Lite are a much better fit for seniors with slower club head speed. Very easy to swing and the forgiveness, distance, and height of shots is impressive. Also, excellent in the short game.
The Rogue OS Max Lites are great for players with moderate to slower swing speeds. Launches the ball nicely and provides maximum distance. Love these irons!
First ever new iron purchase. Playing with old Callaway x18's and it was time for a long overdue upgraded. I love the increased distance of the irons but even more impressed with how high of a launch I get out of them.
Excellent distance and forgiveness. So easy to hit
I upgraded from the Mavericks to the Rogue ST MAX OS Lites and am really experiencing much better play. Clubs provide better loft and seem to be easier to hit for this 65 year-old male. I only gave them a 4 star because the Callaway web site indicated a lead-time of 1-2 weeks but clubs actually took closer to 5 weeks to be delivered.
Regular flex is a great option for moderate swing players, not just seniors. I really don't lose yardage and for me the oversized club faces are great as I have vision issues and they ultimately enlarge the sweet spot. I'd give them 5 stars but I've only played a few rounds with them and while the offset isn't too great you have to adjust to it. That said, I cancer and my biggest challenge is my alignment. These are definitely a great option for players with moderate swing speeds; not just seniors.
The clubs themselves are in great condition, but the grips are absolutely worn out and will have to be replaced ASAP.
