Callaway HX Practice Golf Balls - 18 Pack - Orange

I am restarting golf after about a 25 year layoff. I needed something to hit in the backyard to regain my touch. These are great!!!! I hit wiffle balls as well as these foam. The foam allow you to feel your shot on your club. The wiffle balls are great for drivers, but these are perfect for chipping, (the foam are restricted flight, and I have a small yard). They are soft enough if you hit a window, car, or grandkids they won't hurt. One day my wife was standing in the yard catching them as I hit them, yes their that soft. But have a great club feel. Now for you pro golfers, you may not like them for whatever reason. But for a starting over guy, they are great. I bought some for relatives that are for sure not beginners but have space problems also.

Used them for scupper plugs on my kayak and for bopping the kids in head when I feel like it, I don't golf so I can't say how well they work for that, if I had a cat he would probably love them...

Feels almost as solid on impact as a real ball. Much better feel than a "Whiffle" ball. Best used with a catching net w/ target and a piece of artifical turf. I felt that it helped me to swing straighter on target line.

Just what i wanted, and at a great price too.

I love this product as we do not have to worry about breaking windows anymore. Soft ball looks real and surprisingly it does travel about 50 yards. Very good practice aid for swinging. We use in our backyard with the net.

The product I purchased has served me well. I really like the way the balls mimic a real golf ball. They have the same action that a regular ball has except for only travelling a third the distance. They have held up well and are fun to use. The orange color makes them relatively easy to find in my over grown lawn.

I'm a beginning golfer. I bought these to hit at the school grounds across the street. Much better than the whiffle balls I started with. They are much sturdier than I thought they would be, if you hit it right they will take off but you don't have to worry about damaging anything.

I was disappointed to find that these are foam rubber including outer shell, but was supprised that they will travel 40-50 yards. they are much better than the wiffle or foam practice balls and seem to hold up to the driver and irons for practice in the back yard.

Balls have too much distance for my small yard. They go about 40% of a real golf ball. OK for chipping.
