Calm Paws Basics Adjustable Recovery Vest for Medium sized Dogs, 1 Vest

I got this for my dog after her spay because the cone was making her nervous. It has worked well so far. It does however have hair stick to it easily. And I would recommend sizing down. The one I have gotten for my dog was a little baggy around the hind end. All around a good suit, just a little tune ups needed

I have always thought of collars, not vests, when needed for dogs, so I was happy to see that my golden really like it, or at least act like it did not bother her. She wore it naturally while playing and while she napped. No signs of irritation or fussing.

So - I tried the vest on my dog for a short period, just to check how she'd tolerate it. While slightly terrified at times (which is par for the course with my pup), she finally accepted that this was happening and let me put it on her. As an owner, I liked it a lot as it was better than a cone (which I had put her in after we had her fixed). While I would have left it on her longer, I did take it off after an hour, but overall thought it was a great product and will definitely use in the future!

Tried this vest on my spaniel just to test it out, and he accepted it without hesitation. He went about his normal routine and played, eat, and napped in it. I kept it on him for about 2 hours and he didn't seem to have any issues. It fit well and didn't cause irritation.

I put the vest on my dog during a normal day to see how he'd do, and it fit well right away. He seemed relaxed wearing it. No scratching or anything. I thought he would hate it, but once he got used to the idea that it was going to be ther for a bit (kept it on for a few hours), he acted normal and did seem to care.

I tested this vest out on my dog over a long weekend. I kept it on, for 2 hours at a time, on Saturday and Sunday. First, the vest feels lightweight yet it held its shape during our test. My dog seemed calm and unbothered wearing it - I mean at first my dog thought I was trying to punish him, but in the end he accepted his fate and even toke a nap in it, both days.

I tried the recovery vest on my medium-size mix to see how he'd handle it, and it worked really well. The fit was snug but not too tight, and the adjustable straps made it easy to get it just right. He wore it while walking around the house and later while napping, and it didn't shift or bother him at all. Much easier than I expected.

I wasn't sure what my dog would think of this, but she ended up loving it. The material feels durable but flexible, and she wore it around the house like it wasn't even there. Definitely impressed.

The vest was easy to put on, soft, and didn't restrict his movement at all. He ran around the house like nothing was different and didn't try to take it off once. The quality feels solid and well-made.

Loved having something that covered our dog's whole belly so we could skip the cone. Other suits didn't work as they had an opening near the groin and that's where her stitches were. Only downside for us is that our dog's girth is 26” and according to the dimensions she would need the large suit and even then be close to too big for that. But the large was enormous on her and she could easily slip out of it even with the Velcro as tight as possible. It also hung down the back of her legs. We used it for a night while we waited for the medium to arrive so had to purchase both. The medium fits but is very tight so there is a massive difference between medium and large.
