Calphalon Classic 3-Quart Stainless Steel Sauté Pan

I can always count on Calphalon for a quality product. I needed to replace the Calphalon 3-quart sauté pan I had for probably ten years for one appropriate for an induction range. I hated giving the old one up. It had served me well and still looked great. I am just as happy so far with the new induction compatible pan and am sure it too will last.

I love this pan! I thought it would be a back-up pan, but it has become my everyday pan. The heating is even; the clean-up is easy; the food is great. What more can you ask? I follow the directions of heating the pan first before adding oils, and letting the pan cool down before submerging in water to clean it and the pan is in great shape. My sister wants one now.

I just made Beef Tips in this pan. I started them on the stove top then put them in the oven. It was way easier than using a crock pot and it was quicker too.

From first glance, this Calphalon pan has a lot to offer, whether you've been cooking for years or are a novice beginner. Upon arrival, the pan was packaged well inside the box with no issues. The tempered lid comes sealed onto the pan so as to be ready for the first use. What I absolutely love about this pan is that it does not take much to heat up the pan. I cooked my grilled cheese and almost instantaneously after heating up the pan, the pan was hot enough to melt the cheese without having to wait. During the cooking process, the food cooks evenly and when you are holding the handle, there is no worry of getting burned. This pan is structurally built for any baker who wants to grill chicken, meat, or cook vegetables more seamlessly with five layers of metal woven into the pan. The lid is see through to keep a closer eye on what you are cooking. What's important is that the pan is not heavy to lift when picking it up. This pan also has a 10 year warranty and it is dishwasher safe. I have put my Calphalon in the dishwasher but it best to use a very safe cleaner that won't scratch the surface. However, I have bought a powder that cleans my Calphalon pan and keeps the stainless steel feature bright and immaculate. This is my third (of many Calphalon pans I look forward to owning) and I cannot speak highly enough of this brand. This brand designs and cooks up several products to not only add a stylish flair to your kitchen but also to create a seamless process for those passionate about cooking. There are so many different ones to choose from whether kitchen gadgets, stainless steel or hard anodized. I do have to say that two of my pans from Calphalon, including this Saute pan and there is so much promise and potential to be excited for. This pan assists me in creating several types of meals, whether as simple as grilled cheese or cooking large family dinners. I've had this for quite some time now. Best Christmas present I ever got. I use it almost daily ! Great for cooking vegetables or frying up some hamburgers or chicken. Great quality and I know it will last me many more years.

I've owned this pan for close to 20 years and it's the best of it's kind on the market. It wears like iron and is great for braising, making soups, and is enormously versatile.

This was a gift nearly 15 years ago. I will never part with this set for as long as I live. With that being said, my sauté pan is starting to warp a little on the bottom. After 15 years, and nearly daily use, I'd say that's pretty good! I will be buying a new one soon, but will never stray from Calphalon!

The lid doesn't have a hole in it so it bubbles up and gets liquid all over the top. You have to move the lid slightly to the side in order to let the steam out. Also these pans have a tendency to stain bad like stuff sticks and caramelizes. Honestly very disappointed for the price and supposed quality of the brand.
