Calphalon Classic Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookware, 12" Jumbo Fryer Pan with Lid

We were looking for a large frying pan to replace our old one. After reading the reviews we ordered the Calphalon anodized non-stick 12 in Jumbo. It's great; everything as advertised. Even heat, non stick, easy to clean and light weight compared to our old 12 inch pan.

The pan is light and comfortable for its size. It is an excellent choice for older people who may have issues lifting and maneuvering a heavier pan. The second handle also helps makes the pan easy to use.

The new and improved Calphalon is great! I have always used this cook ware because it is so durable.My last set lasted 20 years.The two issues I had were not being able to put it in the dishwasher and needing a potholder as the handles got hot. They solved both these issues and I look forward to another 20 years of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed an upgrade to my standard 12" frying pan because the teflon coating had worn out due to years of constant use. I wanted something bigger because I fix some large one-pan meals fairly regularly. After seeing this one, I knew it would be perfect. It's the same diameter as my old 12" but it's a couple of inches taller. That extra space makes all the difference. Now I can make those large meals without worrying about spilling over the edges. I can also saute vegetables much easier because the curve on the edge of the pan helps flip whatever I'm cooking. It also acts as a decent wok for stir-fry and deep-fried meals. Win, win, win!

I got it to replace the same pan that I've been using for years and it was almost $10 less than Amazon or Calphalon.

Love this fry pan, it's nice and deep to do shrimp scampi and not overflow. Use it for everything that will need larger pan. Loved it so much, gave one to my daughter in law. She lives as well.
