I looked at a lot of knife sets before I chose this set and I am so glad that I decided on these. To begin with the knives are extremely attractive and well designed. When using these knives they seem to glide through whatever you are cutting. Unlike a lot of sets that I have had in the past, I do not have apply any pressure when using these knives. They are a true pleasure to use. And…they were on sale.

As a nurse and mom. I'm always cooking at home so I needed knives that re reliable and low maintenance.. and this set has honestly made meal prep so much easier! I love the shelf sharpening block! It helps keep the edge sharp ..this set makes cooking smoother and more efficient!

These knives are a good buy for the price. I like the quality and full tang of these knives, It makes them feel very solid. The edge is sharp and does the job very well. The weight is going to be a touch heavier, but they are very well-balanced and comfortable to hold. Plus, they are very sharp right out of the box. The first time I used one from the set, it exceeded every expectation. These knives are sharp and I like the idea that they are self-sharpening. The knife block also is very attractive sitting on my counter.

I love these self-sharpening knives. Our old set wasn't and it's taking some time to get used to having sharp knives again. They are easy to clean and look really good on the counter.

The knives themselves cut beautifully and have held up good so far but still rust even when hand washing and drying off immediately.

The 15 piece knife set seemed great, but the 5” Boning knife fell and broke. These knives are supposed to be sturdy and of great quality.

I purchased the Calphalon Classic self sharpening knife set with high expectations, but unfortunately I was very disappointed. Despite being marketed as self sharpening, my set became dull very quickly with normal household use. I did not put the knives in the dishwasher, so improper care was not the issue. What was even more frustrating was how the metal began to look stained and worn in a short amount of time. The knives did not maintain their sharpness or appearance the way I expected for this brand and price point. Overall, this set did not live up to its claims. Between the quick dulling and the stained looking metal, it was a disappointment and not something I would purchase again.
