Calphalon Premier Hard-Anodized Nonstick 13-Inch Deep Skillet with Lid

Ths is our 2nd deep skillet pan. The original one we purchased 30 years ago was replaced by Calphalon when the nonstick coating deteriorated after 10 years of use. It was replaced by Calphalon under the warranty. We still have that deep dish replacement pan for use. Decided to purchase another one because we do a lot of cooking. Great for cooking a number of stove top dishes along with stir frys which this pan does well. Calphalon quality and their warranty guarantee is why I have multiple types of their pans and skillets.

Found this large hard-anodized nonstick skillet to be quite convenient especially for large meals. Also come with a lid. Works as well as a wok, you can also do pasta due to the deep sides. Sauteing, frying are a breeze. Especially handy for larger batches. This is actually my second one.

This is the first nonstick skillet I have owned that is true to its name. Doesn't scratch easily, allows food to brown beautifully, and cleans up in seconds!

When someone burned the thanksgiving dish cooking the 15YO "BIG pan" to the point you could not remove the carbonized remains from her favorite big pan, a new replacement was in order. On sale, perfect match, and here in time to cook Xmas dinner.

This is the second Calphalon fry pan we have owned. It is better than the expensive supposed professional pans.

Expensive pan but I believe you get what you pay for, still to early to tell if the non stick stays, all the non stick pans I bought in the past worked great at first but all didn't last. So far so good with this pan.

Love the size and shape of this pan! It's nice and deep so it's easy to stir food even when the pan is full. Nonstick works great and it has a great weight and feel to it, I look forward to pulling this out of the cabinet!

The skillet is excellent I am sure but much too large for me.. I was looking to replace the Caphalon skillet I presently have. I should have measured it before ordering a new one. Mine is about 10 1/2 inches and deep.

This coating with "Mineral Shield" is my very favorite non-stick available today. Not ceramic but and advanced multilayer coating that IS ACTUALLY NON-STICK!!! I'd have given 5 stars but I expected a wider flat cooking surface than that we got in our two separate 12" fry pans. I do like the deeper rounded sides but the flat cooking contact surface un this 13 inch fry pan is only 8 - 8.5 inches. Our 12" fry pan has 9 inches of flat cooking surface.

I was eager to try this out because I needed a Stockpot this size & Caphalon hasn't disappointed in the past. But the lid's handles are too small to pick up with potholders. I will return it.
