Calphalon Premier Space Saving Nonstick 1.5-Quart Sauce Pan with Cover

I purchased a set earlier but wanted a smaller saucepan, so I purchased this. I love my entire set that I've now had for a few months. They heat wonderfully. Cleaning is a cinch. I have not seen any wearing around the top that I've seen in other reviews.

Love this little one for smaller dishes/sauces. Cooks evenly, cleans easily (I hand-wash my cookware), and it has been a wonderful addition to my collection.

needed a replacement the one that came with my set got dented. could not use it with the top. However, I do really love my set of cook ware and look forward in seeing what else may come out that i can add to the set. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Like the Premier Space-Saving set, but wish these smaller saucepans were part of a large set, instead of the larger pans. Had to wait quite a while to order two separately. Also, Calphalon has a poor presence in Canada with few product line choices and few retailers carrying many products. Wish they had better product access in Canada and easier ways to order. I had to order these in USA and have them shipped to a friend there and then sent to me personally in order to avoid a huge charge from a single supplier.

This is a wonderful pan we purchased to replace and existing non-Calphalon pan. Because of the great experience we had with the Calphalon space saver pans we plan to replace all of our old pans with Calphalon. I have to say we have not been disappointed with any of the items we have purchased. Can't wait until they get a few items back in stock.

The saucepan is great. Very nonstick but what about the cover? It is not your normal lid. Good thing I have a pot this size and can use it to cover this new pot as well.

High quality. Nonstick coating is very slick. Heavier than it needs to be, due in part to the gaudy branding badge. Plenty of places for food to stick in crevices there too. Lid is over-designed and also too heavy, for little if any benefit. Rounded lip much appreciated.

It's a good concept but you can only stack the pots if you have other stackable Calphalon pots of the same diameter. The stacking hardware on both sides of the pot make it heavier. I'm returning this because I don't want such a heavy pot when I have nothing to stack it with.

I love these pans….but….they scratch easily and the bottom of my sauté pan and large skillet warped so the grease settles on one side of the pan. I purchased the complete large set a couple of years ago and recently purchased 4 new pieces to replace those that were scratched and warped. I thought that at this price point I would have had these for many years before replacing. I do love the stackability!! I live in a condo without a lot of cabinet space so these did the job there.

I like the concept, but unless you have more than one pot with the same dimensions (and I don't), so you can stack them, the space-saving design doesn't save you anything. I thought I could stack other cookware with it, on the flat lid, but that requires a lot of vertical space. I could live with all this but the extra heavy hardware on the pots that allows them to stack makes them very heavy and I don't need that if I'm not able to stack them.
