Pleased but some complaints
This piece is actually really pretty. Very pleased with this purchase. Looks like it came fully assembled or was built in to my house. For as many compliments as I have for this, I do have a few complaints. First the top right corners of the mantle came damaged. They both look like they were dropped on each corner. Second there is a small spot on the right trim of the shelf side that was completely missed by stain. so small that I could just take a stain pen and cover it up, but still a little odd. And third, I purchased the walnut option for this fireplace and although the color is very pretty in person, it is not at all like what was in the photo description. It is much lighter than was anticipated. With that being said, I will be contacting customer service to see if I can get a replacement for the top piece that is damaged. I would prefer to not return in its entirety because of its size and weight, but just a replacement piece for what is damaged.

Cambridge electric fireplace
Several pieces were damaged, the chinese "craftmanship" was visible everywhere. Some piece were not marked and some of the pieces did not fit in the holes. I had to do alot of adjustments in order to finally get it all together. It took twice as long to put it together. The fireplace insert works very well and was easy to install. Once together it looks great.

this mantle was a lot lower than I expected, I thought it was taller than it Is, I would love to have the same style but a higher height
