Cambridge Metropolitan 56" Wall-Mount Electronic Fireplace with Flat Panel and Crystal Rocks

It's beautiful once you get it up!. However the instructions are HORRIBLE took me forever to take the front piece off. Instructions ONLY indicate removing 4 screws at the top INCORRECT you have to remove 2 more on each side. IT DOESN'T TELL YOU WHICH ONES!!! You also have to remove the imitation wood before putting in the plastic crystals. The blower is a little loud also but tolerable.

JUST PURCHASED THIS. ONLY USED 2X. SEEMS LIKE A VERY GOOD QUALITY PRODUCT. BEAUTIFUL DISPLAY WITH MULTIPLE FLAME BRIGHTNESS SETTINGS. IN A WORLD WITH LESSER QUALITY ITEMS, THIS FIREPLACE SEEMS LIKE IT IS A GOOD VALUE!!!!

I've always wanted a fireplace in my home to experience the warmth and the glam effect they always give to people's homes. Unfortunately, I am unable to build a real fireplace so I bought this wall-mount application hoping it would bring a similar feel to my living room - and it did! I absolutely LOVE this fireplace! The sleek and modern look, along with the realistic flame effect rising from the crystal rocks, creates an incredible ambiance without all the hassle of maintaining a real fireplace. Not to mention it won't fill your home with smoke if anyone's sensitive to that. It's great to read a book next to or have in the background while entertaining guests. The product comes with a super handy remote control with heat settings, and my guests are always amazed with this fun gadget. Although you can't roast s'mores with this fireplace, I would 10/10 recommend to anyone who is looking to spice up their room with this unique digital heating device and to anyone who genuinely would love a cozy fireplace but can't have one. I am writing this review as part of a contest.

My girlfriends and I just had our weekly wine Wednesday and we had such a blast hanging around this product! Everybody was so totally OBSESSED with the attention to detail and warmth this product created. Love her so much!

Liked this product, works great and looks great

This is a pretty large electric fireplace, almost 5 feet wide! We were renovating our fireplace, removing the old fireplace and adding stone and going electric. The reason for going electric was so we could use this year round, no smoke, no mess, no hearth, just a modern, remote control fireplace. It will take the chill out of this large room after running for 30 minutes. I really like the embers look. No need to add the crystals (that come with it). \n\nAbout the Fireplace:\n* touch control panel on the bottom right\n* remote control with flame level (brightness 1-5), timer, heat (low and high) and on and off.\n* the temperature display is in Celsius. My son and I joked that it was to save 2 cents on another digit.\n* The front glass is beautiful. It slides up and off the back for cleaning and makes it easier to mount. You just mount the back and slide the glass on.\n* There is a 120v standard plug.\n* vent is at the very bottom/front - high and low heat settings.\n* The engineers added a faint pop and sizzle sound that you might think is a noisy motor at first if you are very close to the unit.\n* the top brightness is still pretty subtle. I do wish it went 2 levels higher.\n* the led's don't change color.. but that is OK. This is a very natural looking fire.\n\nWe are pleased with it. Check out the photos

The touch screen buttons creates a modern appeal, and prevents my two year old son from being able to turn it on. It came originally with fake charcoal with the crystals in a separate bag to change out of you choose. I actually really like the charcoal look, because it's so realistic, and the noise actually sounds like burning wood. I would absolutely recommend!

Firstly, the logs were broken. Secondly, the heat doesn't heat well and lastly, the fireplace itself shut off after operating for approximately a hour and a half! I am throughly disappointed in this small investment! It was purchased four weeks ago and installed a week ago. I actually had the casing built around this “crap” and it does not work!
