It has a variated wood grain. The knives are huge and so sturdy. The hammered copper design is so elegant. I love how they cut everything from veggies and fruit to breads and proteins. They are very sharp and leave perfectly clean cuts. This block set looks amazing in my kitchen.

While I like how it is a knife block, I wish it came with separate knife covers in the even that I don’t want to use the block.

I wish it came with a spot for a knife sharpener and that the wood block was a little shorter, so it took up less counter space. Overall, a beautiful product!

I got these as wedding gift several months ago, and they were beautiful, sharp knives until my husband accidentally put them in the dishwasher. Now the copper color is gone and they’re fairly dull. It does say “hand wash recommended” but just know that it’s not dishwasher safe at all. As long as you don’t put them in the dishwasher they’re fine!
