We had originally bought 2 sets to get us buy, when several of our tablespoons came up missing, we bought 2 more sets, and were very happy that Walmart still carried the same one that we purchased 3 years ago. This set is not only very attractive without being frilly but also has a nice weight to it. While they are a bit pricier that most of the others, they are worth it. I highly recommend this silverware set, either for everyday use or special occasions.

This review is for 4 sets of flatware. I have bunches of folks in my house so I'll need about four more sets of four. I was asked to leave a review even though I have used these for less than a week. As with all flatware, I'm sure some of them will disappear, but for the time being, these seem sturdy and heavy. I like that they are shiny and have a mirrored surface. I have noticed that there are scuff marks on several of them. I chalk this up to daily use and being washed in the dishwasher. I do not believe they would be as scuffed up if they were cared for and hand-washed. These have been run in the dishwasher every day since we first got them and there are only a few visible scuff marks. I imagine that there will be more as time marches on, but I do like these. I'll be adding four more sets to my pick-up order soon.

I have a large household so we run the dishwasher a lot! We also seem to go through a lot of silverware because they usually are scratched beyond repair from use or warped and bent! This set might be a game changer! They are very heavy but not too heavy, if you have ever bent cheap silverware you know what I mean! They have been ran through the dishwasher for 3 plus weeks now and not one scratch! The second picture is after 3 weeks of use, the first is right out of the box! I can't tell a difference! I'm impressed!

These are nice looking, but they super heavy so the utensils trend to fall off your plate when carrying your plate. This takes some getting used to.

recently got this new Cambridge Silversmiths Readington flatware set to try and I was really pleased with it. For starters the set is forged stainless steel which makes it much more durable than other types of sets and I loved that about it. The look of this set is very basic but not boring, it has a mirror finish and it will go well with most any dishes. I thought the pieces were really comfortable in my hands, and they weren't too heavy or too light. They feel sturdy and well made. One thing I personally noticed is that the dinner fork and dinner spoon were a little on the large side for me personally, but I have always preferred smaller flatware so that is a preference and I didn't feel like these were larger than average. My mom thought they were a normal size and likes them. I also really liked the serrated edges of the set, and they cut very well. I'd recommend this set as a great set for anyone who is interested and wanted to try it.

I am picky. And thought these really pretty but being totally simple. Just a plain highly polished handle. The handles are longer than average which I liked. Knives have very tiny serrations for cutting. I prefer more of a bowl shape on larger spoons my self, the dinner spoons could almost pass for serving spoons. Nice really heavy weight. Washing by hand is good. Unable to test in dishwasher since mine is out of order! One more comment, these might be a bit largefor young kids. Great for adults, esp men.
