Camco 2.6-Gallon Portable Travel Toilet – Polymer (41531)

I took this on a 7 day camping trip; used it for urine only. I used a deodorant pack and there was no leakage of odors or anything else. I did have to empty it half way during the trip; that was my fault as I bought the smaller tank since I didn't think I would be able to lift the larger one once it was full. Emptying it into the dump station and cleanup was easy. I recommend using waterproof gloves during the emptying and cleaning process. The only complaint I have is the water pump provided that flushes the tank is inconvenient to use due to location and also it is very hard to compress the pump. I kept a jug of water next to the unit and used that to rinse the bowl after use.

We have not camped with it yet. But, is sturdy, came in a timely fashion, was exactly as ordered/pictured. Small, which is exactly what we wanted to fit our small trailer.

This portable toilet is compact, yet conferrable; simple to operate. Wish we'd had this for our boat years ago!

Added to boat for the ladies. Plan to use it camping this summer. Came as and when advertised.

Traveling cross country in my new Winnebago and there is a leaky toilet, to difficult to try and have it fixed seeing this is my home So this portable commode has been a life saver at night time

It's a sturdy, well made, and seals very well. If there's one thing in the world you don't want to leak, it's either a life boat or a toilet. I've been using it, not for camping, but until the plumbing is finished in my new place. That means way more than a weekend's use and it's been fine. Couple notes: I forgot to make sure the cap was tight after I took it out of the box. Once the tank level had gotten high enough. I discovered icky seepage. At first I thought I'd have to return it, but all I had to do was tighten the cap. Another suggestion: pay extra attention to the handle when moving it around. Mine snagged on something, pulled out a half inch and did I have a nasty mess to clean up. Gah! None of this is manufacture flaw, just user error. The smaller tank means you have to empty it more often, but I'm a woman. I specifically ordered it that way so it would be lighter and easier on my back. If you're brawny and lazy, you might want to get a 5 gallon. Well, you don't have to be lazy to not want to empty a toilet. It's my least favorite chore. I particularly like the clamps that hold the top and tank together. I had a Coleman once that slid into grooves. I suppose they'd done it as an improvement on clamps, bu it wasn't. The top was always sliding around and having to be reattached. Total, messy pain and didn't last long before it started leaking. Coleman stuff is usually much better than that. I've been impressed that the Camco is just as good as their usual standards or better.

Ended up not needing this and did not realize all sales are final for this item even though the box is unopened! Even if you try to return the same day it's delivered.
