The item itself has no issues mechanically. However the macerator hose, which is critical, was packaged with a kink and now the hose is useless, debris cant fit through it. This macerator also uses plastic hose connections which strip very easily.

Prone to breaking
The unit on/off switch does not work after a few use and get clogged very easy.
