A very sturdy product
I purchased this stool a few weeks go and I am very pleased with it. It feels extremely safe as it has a no slip surface and does not move or buckle when stepped on. It folds up to tuck away and is very lightweight. What can I say about the price except wow,..... great value. I would not hesitate to recommend this especially to a heavier person.

Sturdy
After looking online and returning one I didn't like I decided on this one. It is nice and big with a non skid surface. It seems sturdier than most. I do wish it was a bit taller but overall I am pleased with it.

NOT 13.4 inches tall
I would give this stool 5 stars for quality but I was looking for a 13 inch plus stool which this one is advertised to be but it is in effect only 9 inches tall. Disappointed that the ad has not been corrected since I complained AND that my complaint is NOT a new one going back 4 years ago in the reviews. Tried to load a photo but it won't work.

Not that great
Extremely stiff and hard to fold and unfold. The top, instead of being a rubber mat of some kind, is actual sandpaper with some sort of flexible backing. Not so comfortable for stepping on barefoot, and while there's something to be said for non-slip surfaces, this is too grabby. I also doubt that it's easy to clean. That said, it folds up to two inches at the widest point, and it is as advertised, very sturdy. Hopefully it will loosen up a bit with use, and I can always peel off the sandpaper coating if it becomes too annoying.

Only 9" tall, not 13.4".
The web page description says: Folds out to a height of 13.4". But it actually folds out to a height of only 9". Very disappointed. I took mine back for a refund. I needed a taller step stool, so I found a 10" step stool at Home Hardware for half the price.
