Camco Tastepure RV Water Filter and Hose Protector - GAC Filtration, Blue (40043)

I was very happy to receive my CAMCO Taste pure RV. water filter. I sold my RV and moved into a tiny home. I decided to use this purifier on this unit. I've used this before and was very happy with it. I'm sure I'll be very happy when I get this one installed. I definitely recommend these water filters. THIS WATER FILTER IS ALSO IN MY BUDGET WITH SO MANY OTHERS AREN'T. AS A RETIREE WITH A FIXED INCOME SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO JUST GET CREATIVE.

I purchased this to filter the water for my plants. I have hard water which means there are higher levels of metals and minerals in the water. This is great for filtering those impurities from the water. I plan on purchasing more for other areas of the house. It is super easy to use and install. The added hose attachment is helpful.

I USED THIS ITEM TO FILTER OUT HARD WATER IN MY POOL.. WORKS GREAT, HAVE NOT HAD WATER ISSUES THIS SUMMER AT ALL AFTER USING THIS FILTER.. HAPPY WITH IT VERY MUCH.

Useful and easy to attach to hose or directly to city water. I used one for 3 month and then swap out. Good value. Double pack best if you have extra room to store or long road trip.

I use this filter on an outdoor portable tankless water heater that I use to fill my hot tub. This was so easy to install and the water was crystal clear. I will definitely purchase again.

I live in the south and have hard water. I have a nice black car, this equals spots when drying. I tried everything.. THis made my water soft and now i don't drive a polk-a-dot car anymore.

im super disappointed in this product. ive purchased it twice, once being the XL so i could try to change conditions to see if there was an improvement. i used a new hose after putting the XL on my spout. everyone talks about how amazing RV filters are. after using this and the "bucket method" to fill my pool, it was still covered in iron at the bottom. i wish i took a picture before i added Iron out and stired it. the WHOLE bottom had a layer. what a waste of $30

Flex hose protector does not work! renders the entire kit useless. We tried with a regular spigot and right after we turn it on with harly any water pressure, the water is leaking out of the fitting itself, not from the spigot. we cant even make it a quarter turn, water is shooting out from between the metal fittings of thebhise protector. and you cant use the filter without it!

I had a leak in my RV water hose which is what I initially ordered, only added the filter to absorb the delivery cost. I did not receive a text that the hose was out of stock until the driver was already on their way without the item I actually needed that night. I went to the same store the next morning and bought the same length water hose in a different brand. So I basically overpaid for a spare water filter, won't be using delivery again.

I would do zero stars if it let me.. It ended up leaking and not just a little bit. The water co said it most likely started leaking the Same day or next because of, how much higher “usage” during those the couple weeks were. It was roughly 3x the amount. So, I not only wasted money on a 6 month purifier that ended up being a 2wk one but, my water bill is ridiculous due to it leaking.. I could've just got a “dud” but even if I was at a campground and, it sprayed like this one. Obviously, would take it off immediately and not only have wasted money but, wouldn't have had a purifier while on a “vacay”.. I think that would've made me even more upset than the higher water bill
