Camco's Propane Portable Little Red Campfire - 9.5-inch Diameter Ring Burner (58031)

We have used the fire once for a backyard cookout. It has a realistic orange/yellow flame that really adds to the camping feel, especially since there are frequent campfire restrictions. We were able to cook hotdogs and marshmallows on it. It worked much better than trying to cook over a burner, but the coals of a real campfire cook better. The build seems good, but the clips are flimsy and miserable to work with, there has to be a better method to clip the cover to the campfire. Overall, I would recommend it. I am looking forward to using it in the back yard and on camp outs.

Very satisfied with Big Red. In drought areas, wood campfires are often not allowed. This unit provides the camp fire experience without the dangers of a wood fire. Granted you don't get the smell and snap of the wood fire, but hey, you don't get the smoke in your face either! Takes up less packing space than a wood and kindling supply. Set up is very easy. I would definitely recommend this for camping or backyard use.

Just what I needed.

This is a great propane campfire! I have used this on my back patio in the mornings and evenings when it is cooler outside and you can feel the warmth from big red campfire. This is legal to use during fire restrictions. The higher up you turn it, the louder it becomes so I usually don't dial it in above a medium flame. It's larger and heavier than its little brother the little red campfire but still puts out the same BTU rate that the little red campfire does. It's just a larger in diameter.

It's a great fire pit but too small so I returned it effortlessly to my nearest Wal Mart

Big red Campfire Rocks. I'm an easily cold person, and this campfire puts out the heat. I love it! And no Smoke in my eyes. It fits perfect in my motorhome. So glad I bought it. It's a must have for anyone who love camping.

Love the Little Campfire! Be careful when lighting. I recommend purchasing and using the one lb adapter and be very careful that the knob on the regulator is turned to the lowest setting when lighting, use a long fireplace match or wand lighter to ignite, as the flame can become larger than anticipated - quicker than a real campfire. Also give plenty of time for the unit to cool before trying to touch it. recommend purchasing fire mits just to be safe. Looking forward to using this for years to come for Smores and roasting hot dogs!

My wife and I RV together with my sister and brother in law. He buys 8 ricks of wood every winter. He needs to feel the glory of making fire and keeping it stoked all day and night. When I told him I purchased a Little Red Campfire he was disgusted with me and called it a fake fire. I told him my fake fire is just as warm as your real fire and we dont have to Keep moving away from the smoke every time the wind shifts or leave our smoke saturated clothes out to air all night. We dont have to purchase or load wood in the back of the truck because Little red fits neatly into the RV pass through. Its so easy that we bring it home after each trip and set it up on our patio to help extend the season for us in the back yard. If he wants to build his mans fire Im happy for him but my little Red Campfire has become one of the coolest purchases weve made. Happy Camper.

Very nice little unit. I never turned it all the way up as it was too hot. Easy to transport. Easy to use. The one thing I didn't like was the instructions said I could put it on the top, and you can't do that cause of the handle. I was in sand, so it worked the other way. Might have to put a wedge to do it, depends on your surface. Thanks!
