I was concerned about the fit with my extra wide feet but it is fine, it does not cramp the small toe on my 10 1/2 EEE feet. The hard rubber toe box is protective of your first three toes, an active wear design. The foot bed is springy and soft compared to other brands of this style I have owned and there is no shank. The neoprene padded uppers offer a more secure feeling of support without socks. I will be wearing these for general purpose use and not in the water or beach but it is handy to have something that can be hosed off with water with no damage and quick drying. Personally I prefer some other color besides black, which makes my skin look pale. I think these may be too roomy for narrow feet unless you wear thick socks or neoprene swim socks. The bottom sole is lively rubber so it should not be too slippery in wet conditions. This is well made active footwear for the money.
Great shoe, very comfortable!
Very comfortable
I'm not sure exactly what the makers of this product were going for. As a sandal they are much too heavy, as a shoe they provide almost no protection for your feet.. The velcro fasteners at the heel work well and secure the shoe, but beyond that everything else is a combination of odd cutouts and faux closure loops that serve no real purpose. The sole is thick and flexible as is the insole so walking in them is fluid and comfortable, but the slip cord fasteners on top do absolutely nothing. And unless you're going to be using them in a wet environment, truthfully the cutouts in the uppers serve no purpose either. Honestly, I prefer my standard sandals to these for comfort. I gave this product 4 stars because they are relatively comfortable and might even be suitable for outdoor social gatherings this spring and summer. I doubt the material will survive prolonged exposure to damp or wet conditions though as they appear to be mostly glued together. They are quirky and I like that, but for hiking a more substantial shoe would be a far better choice. Plus, they aren't consistent in size or construction. While the right is comfortable and fits well, the left squeezes my little toe uncomfortably. These are supposed to be the equivalent of US size 11 but they're closer to a smallish 10.5 in reality.
