Finally found a color to match my bike!
Very good product
Quality and durability is yet to be determined. Not enough time to form an opinion.
These are great bottles. Lets see the Podium Chills in full red color. Just like the regular Podium bottles. Do it!
I love this water bottle, it's very leak proof, etc. My only issue is taking apart the lid to clean it. It's very difficult and it's easy to break the plastic tabs. I know that Cambelback doesn't recommend taking it completely apart but if it's not there is a good chance for mold to grow in the small pieces, rings, etc. So that is my only complaint. Otherwise it's a great waterbottle.
I recently got an Insulated Camelback Podium bottle with dividend money at REI. I must say I'm surprised by all of the good reviews, because when I fill mine with cold water, and even ice cubes, by the time I drive to my starting point and get things out of the car, the water is approaching the ambient temperature. It's been a warm summer, so I'm drinking 80°+ water. In addition, if water has been in the bottle for a few hours, there's a definite "plasticky" taste. I do like the valve on the cap. You have to squeeze it to deliver water and it won't spill. Plus, you can lock it, so spillage is pretty much non-existent. I do like that part. It's been semi-retired to nightly use as my night stand water bottle. Cats can't dump it :-) But, overall, while not terribly expensive, I'd still look around a bit before I buy my next bottle.
Love this bottle for my toddler and preschooler. Keeps water cool, free of BPA and others, and virtually leakproof! This gets thrown, left upside down, and used daily. Only down fall is needing to replace the lid every once in a while because little kids like to chew on the silicone spout/mouthpiece part.
I like that this bottle is 24 Oz compared to the 21oz ice bottle. However, as stated it does not keep the water as cool compared to the ICE which I was surprised with and is very important in hot climates. Just know this is not as insulated as the ICE version
1 oz smaller than my old podium chill bottle, but i prefer this new bottle because it's slimmer and fits tighter in the bike cage and squeezes better because this newer version is a softer plastic and has a removable inner seal for cleaning. this bottle is a better upgrade. the black color looks cool.
This is very well made and a good bottle to keep cold liquids in. The side twist arrangement to open it for drinking is excellent. This is far better than the usual pull up system that most bottles have. The only thing I would like would be having sides that were ridged or otherwise rough. We saw that on a similar but slightly smaller bottle sold in a bike store and which was under the Camelbak logo. That would make holding it while biking somewhat easier. It would also reduce the chances of dropping it when pulling it out or replacing it. Other than that we like this one a lot.
