Camp Chef Outdoor Camping Redwood Fire Pit, GCLOGD, Propane Heater

I had seen one of these fire places on a patio of a fall wedding. I was very impressed! Unable to find one like it, I bought a similar gas fire product from another vendor and was disappointed. When I saw the Camp Chef Redwood available from Walmart I ordered it immediately. The Camp Chef has a deeper bowl and hotter flame. With the other brand the gas flame danced above the lava rocks like some type of memorial flame giving a disappointing campfire experience. The camp chef burns up thru the rocks turning them red like coals and ashes. The effect is very very realistic and enjoyable.

Needed a propane firepit for when we're camping and there is a fire ban on, also to use @ home on the deck. This model is well-built, has a very sturdy base and I particularly like the matchless ignition and the warm, low, medium and high settings. Others in this price range do not even come close to the Camp Chef Deluxe Fire Ring. It even throws heat and the 4 collapsible sticks for roasting wieners or marshmallows are a plus.

Choosing to shop site to store was the best shopping experience I have ever had at Wal-Mart. Our fire ring is excellent and we are enjoying it almost every night as wood fires are not allowed in our campground. Two thumbs up for the entire experience. Good product great fire and heat and attractive too.

Easy-peasy set up! No problem at all, you just need a Phillips screwdriver. I did not use all of the lavarock, so have extra. Attached it to my RV propane tank, one turn and it lit up like a charm. Burned for the requisite 15 minutes in case of any "crackling", which didn't occur. Great heat! Turned it off, took about 30 minutes to cool down before I could put it in the included carry bag. Fits perfect and easy to carry. I love this little campfire! No wood worries! Also had great experience with Walmart shipping and pickup! I don't care what anybody says, I shop at Walmart. They offered the very best price for this product anywhere on or off line!

It lights good, its portable, and it beats hauling firewood! We bought this for a vacation, to prevent buying firewood abroad and to have an instant fire in the evening when we returned from a long day of exploring. It puts out plenty of heat once you get the lava rock hot (takes about ten minutes). We used it for around two hours a night for about five days, and still seem to have quite a bit of propane left in the cylinder. The only thing I would like to see is a longer hose. It would just be nicer to be able to hide the propane cylinder a little further away.

Bought for tailgating in cold weather. takes a few minutes to get radiating heat. With much wind heat disapates quickly. Put under pop up tent with one wall to block wind and it worked great. Not hot 4ft above fire so tent is safe

This fire pit was more value than i expected for the price. It puts out a great deal of heat and the safety features are great. Would definitely recommend.

My wife's Father has had one for a couple years now and we borrowed it all the time to camp...thought we'd better buy one...this past summer with all the burn bans at the campgrounds, it came in very handy....considering the price of wood at the campgrounds...it's comparible in price to operate....you get a couple nights out of a 20lb tank....very excited to have our own now :) P.S. best price around

It was great to have the fire pit again at our camp site. We have missed having a fire pit, so this was great! Only complaints is the ignitor stopped working on the second use. So you need to have a fire lighter with you to gt the flame started up. The pit was a great size, bigger feeling than originally thought it would. Had a great time roasting marshmallows with the kids! It is a keeper!

The fire pit is really good for the flame size and holding heat. Nice size and portable with the carry bag that is included. The only item I have had a little bit of difficulty with is lighting the fire pit. Is a little finicky about holding the knob in for the propane when you use the automatic igniter. Overall is a good value and a great fire pit for camping and home. Would recommend to anyone.
