Camp Chef SmokePro DLX 24" Pellet Grill - PG24 Smoker Grill

This is my first pellet grill. I came over from an old barrel type grill. This thing is everything I could have asked for. Easy to use. Convenient. I was originally planning on purchasing the WW24, but didn't want to commit that much money to something I may not love. The DLX is perfect for a guy like me who likes to eat and not spend all day watching/managing a fire. While I'm really happy with my DLX24, it's not perfect. There is the dreaded "funnel of death" where the pellets create a funnel and after a bit they stop feeding into the auger. I'm also used to a more pronounced smoke flavor. The pellets provide a less intense, more nuanced smoke flavor. I've added a smoke tube to my arsenal for a stronger smoke. I've only used it once, but it seems to have done the job. Overall, super happy with my purchase and would recommend to someone looking for a pellet grill.

This smoker self regulates itself throughout the whole smoke. The total flavor that comes from the cook is amazing! Smoked ribs and prime rib and was blown away at how the machine pretty much did everything for you. The probe allowed you to know exactly when you wanted to pull it from the smoker and put on the finishing touches prior to cutting it up and enjoying what was just created. If you don't have a smoker in your life yet I promise this will change everything you think cooking is.

Never had any experience using a smoker. My friend had this pellet grill and recommended. Have only been using a few weeks, but lovin it so far. Already have made 4 batches of jerky (beef and turkey), chicken, pulled pork, and a brisket. Can't recommend enough.

If you're considering purchasing this grill, just do it! The grill was shipped extremely fast, and came nearly assembled. I was shocked at the time and effort I DIDN'T spend putting this together, I've spent more time putting together a conventional propane grill than my Camp Chef. The quality and ingenuity of the design and product are un matched. I received the grill late in the afternoon and was cooking dinner in less than an hour. It's easy to use and cooks amazing, with more features at this price point than the nearest competitor. Easy Choice, Buy this Grill!

This is my first pellet grill and brother I hit it out of the park!!! I get a great smoke ring with a low slow smoke and if I want a ribeye quick like I crank it up to 500 and flip that bad boy one time in short order. Get my belly full and nighty night time so I get rested for work the next day. I have had propane grills all my life and a propane grill burned up my home and everything I ever owned in 48 years of my life. My pellet grill when cleaned and cared for I can let it smoke all night and sleep well. I wake up to amazing BBQ. It's not a high end smoker and don't expect the same results. But you can satisfy your BbQ cravings with this unit with little effort. Buy good pellets and get great BBQ

So far I'm loving the grill. Have used it a handful of times since arriving. Very user friendly and simple to operate. Had a small issue and CC went above and beyond with their customer service.

Pellet grill works wonders. Very pleased with the results of our chicken steak salmon and even lingcod! Wishing we had gotten a wifi version but the probes that come with the DLX still work great.

I was impressed with this grill from the time I started assembly at home. I had already eaten pulled pork and Brisket from a friends grill, and he showed me all the features. In particular I liked the easy cleaning features. Not a 5 star rating because it need to have the caster wheels included on left side of grill, and quick start grill instructions (like clean the ash drawer EACH TIME) on a laminated card. I spent a lot of time going thru the manual looking for gems.

I was impressed with the materials and workmanship on most of the grill but disappointed in quality control. The grill is not level and wobbles. the legs cannot be interchanged side to side. It is difficult to tell of the legs are of slightly different length or the whole frame is racked slightly. Again, it wobbles on any flat surface. Disappointing for the price.

Easy to assemble and value for money, although I still have a problem with ash clean out door sticking after each use. Customer support advises they have some protecting agent on the metal that melts and then seals the sliding door. Told me I may have to strike the underside of the bbq to break it free and that I would only have to do this once or twice. I've used it seven times now and still have to hit it with a rubber mallet to open the door. Two more notes to customer service without any other suggestions. Ridiculous to have to pound on a new bbq with a rubber mallet every time you use it. I'm going to try opening the door and taking my heat gun to it to see if I can get the stuff to melt and run out. Everything else works great and I've done some great bbq on it. Would be 5 stars without this yet to be resolved issue.
