this soup tastes great and really does have CHUNKS of potato and substantial bits of bacon in it. very rich, creamy, smokey and satisfying

Excellent for camping

No, it doesn't have a lot of bacon, but it's not a BLT. It tastes great--plenty of flavor, not too salty. The chunks of potato are a great size and texture and the soup base is creamy. Fed this to guests and everyone loved it--no need to mention it wasn't homemade ;)

I ordered Potato Pot Pie, but got this instead, It's ok, but Pot Pie is better

Why do they still make this? I guarantee if you told someone there is bacon in this they would second guess you. The potato skins are usually the best part of potatoes but they ruin the flavor. All you get is potatoes in this white gravy that is just awful. Avoid this.

This looks like it would have so much potential how could they mess it up? I was legitimately excited to try this when it came out. I mean who hasn't eaten close to their weight in either bacon or potatoes. Well they managed to do so. The skin on the potatoes absorbs all the flavor, there is hardly any bacon well to be fair this is tinned food not a gourmet meal from a restaurant. I didn't care for it at all and couldn't wait to finish it. Seriously how is it even possible to make this as bad as it is. I hope they discontinue this.
