Great for gravy, on roast beef,pork roast,baked chicken. Or making beef pot pies. Great taste over rice or mashed potatoes a little pricey. But better than any bottled or canned gravy. I always put my roast pan drippings in a fat separator, and mix the broth with GOLDEN MUSHROOM SOUP OUTSTANDING ON YOUR ROAST. IMPRESS YOUR MOUTHER- INLAW

We hadn't seen this before and saw it on vacation so we grabbed it to use an hour sausage gravy for biscuits. It was a huge hit and we will definitely look for it again in our hometown because it had such great flavor.

even though the CEO of Campbell says that this is absolute garbage soup not to eat it I unfortunately need it when I make my Croatian dish of golden mushroom with pork and mashed potatoes and this is the only thing that works to make the dish and I got to say it tastes absolutely delicious and it's great for making Crock-Pot meals lol

This one needs a very specific review. If you heat this up and expect it to eat like cream of mushroom soup, you're going to be disappointed. It doesn't have that thick, rich, creamy texture on its own. BUT...this is not where it shines. Where this really stands out is in making mushroom gravy. I use it with beef patties, season them up (don't skip the garlic), cook them, then mix a couple cans of this with one can of cream of mushroom and add some half and half or heavy cream. Pour that over the patties, toss it in the oven, and you've got an amazing, rich gravy that everyone in my family loves. Add sautéed mushrooms and onions if you really want to take it over the top. So no, not my pick as a standalone soup, but as a base for gravy? This stuff is a winner.

We can never rely on our only store in area to stock this flavor of Campbell soup. The last two visits they did not have so I figured why get frustrated when I can get in line with free shipping. If the price were lower I would have given at 5 star. However, purchasing on line did save me a few pennies. 🥴. I'll never rely on store for this again.

My complaint isn't with the product itself. This is a great product. It is flavorful and I love to use it in a wide variety of things. I hope you never change it. My complaint is with Walmarts policy of sending damaged items to their online shoppers who pay a fee every month to be able to shop online. We are constantly getting damaged items in our pickup orders. This time it was damaged soup cans. Last time it was tomato cans. The tomato can we received last time we ordered was so damaged it was leaking. I now have to drive 5 miles back to the Walmart store in order to return this soup. It shouldn't be happening. It it your policy to purposely get rid of your damaged items by putting them in your customers online orders? People work hard for their money and they deserve to get undamaged items when they shop with you. Walmart has gotten so big that customer service is no longer a priority. Walmart you really need to start treating your customers right. Remember there are other options for online shopping. The bigger you are the harder you fall Walmart. If Walmart continues on a path of bad customer service they may find that people choose to shop elsewhere. With the cost of gas being as high as it is I would rather pay a few cents more for my item then have to drive all the way back to my local Walmart to return damaged items.

Sure would be nice if Walmart would stop sending me dented, inedible cans of soup. Pretty sure they're saving the dented ones to send off with their delivery orders. Very poor customer service and poor work ethic/morals they are teaching their staff. Or at least allowing them to make these selections. Way too many times it has happened to me. I have complained/returned items several times. If they cared, they would've solved the problem already. I am stuck with delivery or pick up orders as I take a medication that affects my immune system. I am tired of having to re-order things and not have the things I am expecting to have because I have to go through the refund process and re-ordering hoping the next one is edible.

I was supposed to get an eight pack of golden mushroom soup. However, the person who packed my groceries gave me four of the right, but they also gave me one can of chicken noodle soup one can of beefy mushroom soup, one can of cream of potato, and one can of cream of mushroom with garlic.

You gave me 2 golden mushroom soups And 1 French onion.. which I don't want Now I have a random soup I will never use and I have to go to the store and buy the 3rd golden mushroom I didn't receive
