Campbell’s Homestyle Tomato Basil Soup, 16.3 oz Can

I was not certain, at first, how it would taste out of a can but as soon as I opened it I could clearly smell the basil. It smelled fresh and amazing. After heating it up.and trying, it tasted amazing. I just loved it.

Quick and easy to prepare. It's thicker with a rich tomato taste. The basil is not overwhelming but adds a pleasant herb taste that pairs well with tomato. Perfect for a cool fall day.

Love this tomato soup. I always have a few cans at home for when the need for an easy cozy meal comes. Not too salty, great flavor. Best served with grilled cheese.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soup has a very nice flavor to it. It is a rich red color. The can will feed a very hungry person or 2 servings easily. I did not think it would have much Basil flavor as there are not many pieces of Basil in the soup but it tastes great! It does contain butter and milk making it very rich and creamy. It has a self opening lid so no need for a can opener. The price is inline with other brands.

I didnt care for it because it had alot of sugar in it.

I have been trying to find a really good canned tomato soup out of pure convenience. This is not it. It is very sweet and the basil taste on the finish is almost soap like to me. Won't buy again.
