Excellent Camp Axe
Absolutely love having the right tool for the job, recently inherited a home that was overgrown. I ordered this because of the estwing reputation and the quality,boy was I correct ,this handled the job perfectly for chopping down several overgrown trees on the property. It's extremely sharp, well balanced and it feels great in your hands. Since than I've used it for pounding it tent stakes winter camping and clearing branches out of the way hunting. Now it's no good for splitting wood due to the profile of the head ,but that's not why I bought it so it's not a deal breaker.. looking forward to using it during the summer.

A perfect sized axe for most general needs, feels great in hand. Forged steel, one piece construction. Combined with an easy grip with superb impact reduction and great aesthetic appeal. When used as designed, it should last through several generations. Very affordable yet high quality, will recommend to all.

Great for the money
I like this axe. I had seen others say it wasn't very sharp. When I got it it was sharp but I still took a diamond stone to it. Three weeks later I cut my finger just taking it out of the sheath carelessly. This was after I had already been chopping with it. This is my first "camp axe". I have had felling axes and hatchets so I'll have to see how it works out.

Excellent Axe
For his birthday, my 15-year-old son requested an axe. We reside in a rural area and own a sizable property with numerous trees. The axe ended up being his most cherished birthday present. According to him, the handle is excellent and it cuts exceptionally well. We highly recommend it as a great gift!

Perfect lightweight near full size camp axe
Not sure if you've ever used Estwing tools before, but you absolutely get what you pay for. 10/10 quality and feel. Perfect camp axe.

Excellent axe for anything you need it for
I was given this axe for my birthday and I love it. Scence my birthday I have used it everyday. The axe was given a test when it was snowing and I still used it. I was surprised that it still held its edge. This is a great axe.
