Different than expected but in a good way
We have used theraputty (Cando light blue-firm, and black-extra firm) in the past with pretty good success. My only complaint is that if you have really sweaty hands, the putty wears out faster and tends to get sticky. I liked the idea with this putty I could add the "pellets" to the putty to change the resistance. I thought that perhaps it would help with the sticky problem too. I was surprised when it arrived, to find that it had a slightly waxy consistency. (It also smells a bit like crayons) We slowly mixed in the pellets, checking out the difference in the resistances. I bought the size that came with only 1 four pellet pack. So far we have not seen any issues with this putty becoming sticky even with heavy use. My only wish is that it came with more of the pellets. I prefer a firmer resistance than I was able to achieve after mixing in all of the included pellets.
