I bought this camera (R6 Mark II) 5 months ago and it's the best camera I've ever used, hands down. It takes stunning photos and videos in every lighting condition, and it's so easy to use. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a camera that can do it all. Of course, you should only buy through official channels so that you have a warranty and you can have peace of mind.
Great camera! Glad I could get with Affirm from Focus Camera
Why is it that sellers want a review before the user has a chance to completely evaluate the product? This camera is so complex that I'll need months to check it out. I haven't even looked at the Stop Motion Animation Firmware. However, so far, so good.
I BOUGHT R6 MARK II 3 WEEKS AGO AND CAN SAY THIS CAMERA IS AWESOME!
Purchased new in May 2023 - I will be sending for repair July 9, 2023 The ISO and shutter speed settings are changing at random in all settings, including Manual. Two calls to Canon and google reviews show that this is an uncommon problem, but still a problem with this camera. I now have to RENT a camera (at $65/day) for my photoshoots because my brand new equipment has to go back to Canon for about 10 days to 2 weeks of repairs. My last camera, a 5D Mark III, was in heavy use for 10 years in my photography business and never once went in for repairs. I loved the way this camera worked until the middle of my photoshoot when the settings went haywire. And yes, I did all of the fixes suggested by two Canon repair reps and google. If you buy this camera for professional use, better get two so you always have one available for your shoots. Look up "randomly changes ISO settings" on Google and see what you find for yourself.
