TR4720 printer
The TR4720 replaced my six-year old TR4520 and it works fine. I got a lot of help from Canon's helper service to get the new printer into operation.

Better than Expected
I've had wireless printers before, this model seamlessly configures to laptop, phone for easy printing. Trying out the auto-ink program, let's see how it works.

I bought this because of my very positive experience with my last pixma. went for 8 long years. I think it only died because I dropped it, because it was working two weeks prior.

Canon Pixma printer
The Canon PIXMA printer works well, but I did not realize that there was an internal ink reservoir that can become saturated and cause the printer to not work. This ink collection system is not repairable, and the printer needs to be replaced.

Do not buy the TR4700 series from Canon
The TR4700 series is over-complicated. I wanted a printer: Because of super low pricing, I got something that has been made to be confusing and hard to work with. The on-unit screen is hard to see. The unit was obviously designed as a desk-top unit to be placed directly in front of the user at eye level - forget having your PC in front of you. The onboard screen is pathetically small and hard to read and infuriating to guess its menu sequence! Do not buy! No wonder it was a great price.

not worth it
i need an admin password and i cant for the life of me figure it out. i never set one up. also cardstock always gets jammed. prints very light, especailly pictures.

Horrible product
Horrible won't print nothing it breaks does at least 4 times a month. I try to fix it then something else happens. It doesn't print double sided. Doesn't print full color. Words are always blurry. I only had it since May 2025 (7 months) now it's broke again I'm done going back to my Hp family.

good paperweight
I am not a computer wiz and have yet to get it to connect with computer. Reading troubleshoot a person commented he is knowledgeable about computers and can't get connected either,

Junk
My 3=month old printer lost contact with my PC. I have spent two hours trying to reconnect. 20 years ago I could have gone to the website and downloaded a driver in 2 minutes. Now I can't even connect by any means.I think that this is my last Canon.

One copy and it failed ,error codes , repeated trying to self correct
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT It did not work after one copy . I bought it because I needed one copy . Then got an error code . 5100 . paper jam ? nope. ……packaging material stuck in machine ? nope . Then try cleaning contacts. ??? WHAT ? It made one copy !
