Canopi by ShedRain Sun+Rain Auto Open Auto Close 43" UPF 50+ Printed Rain Umbrella - Red and Navy Floral

I bought this umbrella because I was traveling to Puerto Rico, and I needed an umbrella to protect me from the hot sun with UV protection. It's a normal size umbrella, and it fit in my backpack. It rained the first few days, so I was glad I had the umbrella with me. Served 2 purposes.

I just got back from a trip to Yosemite yesterday. It was very hot. I have a sun issue and it helped tremendously. I was the only one with an umbrella and that was ok. I had a hat on and sun sleeves on my arms and it all helped make my trip a good one.

This rain sun umbrella is exactly what I was looking for. The one hand open close mechanism is very smooth and easy to operate. Timely delivery.

Light, useful, and compacted! I carry it with me at all times. It works well as UV protection and works perfectly as a regular umbrella.

It is very colorful for any time of the year. I purchased it to give my Mom on her birthday. She loved it!

So love the open and close feature of this umbrella. Most often it's hard to close an umbrella when you have other items in hand.

We don't get a lot of rain where I live so I haven't had the chance to use this umbrella yet. However I feel it's worth noting (as I bought this item online) that the color is much more red in person than orange. I still decided to keep it because the pattern is cute (I purchased for my daughter). I bought “orange floral” if that wasn't obvious

This is definitely more of an umbrella than a sunshade. The product photos were a bit misleading, as it's much smaller than expected. I'm also not sure how effective it would be in the rain because the canopy has very little curve or dome shape and extends almost straight out. Due to its small size and design, you would practically have to wear it like a hat for it to provide any meaningful protection from either the sun or rain. Overall, it did not meet my Expectations. Says auto but its not it just a regular umbrella with a push button to open. I thought auto open and close meant automatic. They should seriously specify that.
