I initially made this purchase with my son in mind for a specific hair style. I USE IT EVERY DAY FOR MYSELF! I love how soft it makes my hair feel and easier to manage. BEST PURCHASE EVER!!

It's a good foam for refreshing the scalp under braids and locs but doesn't help with anti-itch. Also has a good scent.

I really like this to use when braiding my sons curly hair. It smells great and keeps the flyaway away. A little goes a long way because it can be a bit sticky if you use too much.

I have used a lot of different foam sets over the years and this is my first time using a foam dedicated to protective styles. I thought the Apple cider vinegar scent would be intense but it's actually quite nice and fresh. I smell the aloe more though and only get a hint of vinegar. It foams well and doesn't leave my hair hard or sticky like some mousses do. This is important when I consider what foam to buy for my protective style. I usually stick with crochet braids and this is perfect for refreshing my hair without that sticky feel. I have found a new favorite!

I can't say that I used this enough to know if it really lived up to its claims

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i used this product to refresh my knotless braids and it worked pretty well. sometimes, the mousse that i use to refresh my braids can leave my hair feeling kind of icky. this did not do that. i want to try it on my natural hair next to see if it makes a difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The foam is a nice light texture. I pumped some into my palm and rubbed it along my straight backs. It doesn't have a great smell. I've used other apple cider vinegar products before and the vinegar smell wasn't as potent, so I wasn't a huge fan of that. However, the foam kept my braids shiny and moist and helped keep my scalp from drying out. I was comfortable keeping my braids in for almost week longer than usual, so the product definitely does it's job. If anything, I might try mixing an essential oil in with the foam to mask the smell! Otherwise, I like it.
