GREAT on your hair
Feels more like a deep treatment than a basic conditioner thick, rich, and straight to the point. It takes frizz leaving hair smoother and more defined. The scent is warm and slightly sweet, noticeable but not overpowering. Go easy on it, though too much can leave a bit of residue. Used right, it delivers soft, controlled hair without the heaviness.
Getting prepared for wash day with my 4c hair takes mental energy and space in my calendar but using this leave-in conditioner makes the process more enjoyable. Using this to prepare my hair for a twistout is a godsend. It helps make myself softer and moisturized. The conditioner has a light texture and it smells so good!! When i wake up in the morning I still smell a bit of it when I'm taking my twists down and fluffing my hair, and I love that. I use coconut oil to take my twists down but they already feel softer with after the leave-in conditioner worked its magic. I received this product for free in exchange for writing a review but I'm a big fan of Cantu products.
I used to not use a leave in conditioner after washing my hair ,and it would break quite a bit .Since I stared using this shea based cream two months ago , the change in my hair has been remarkable . I love the scent ; it feels thick to the touch but absorbs well into the hair ,making everyday styling much easier.
I tried the Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioning Repair Cream, and overall, it worked really well for me. The Positives 1. Real hydration: My hair felt much softer and more manageable from the first use. If you have dry or treated hair, it's great for restoring moisture. 2. Curl definition: I noticed my curls looked more defined and had less frizz. Plus, it doesn't feel as heavy as some other products. 3. Pleasant scent: It has a sweet, long-lasting fragrance that I really like. 4. Good value: For the amount of product you get, it's definitely worth the price.
I received this product as part of a free sample program. This stuff smells amazing & is very moisturizing. I think the texture is nice, creamy, and thick. It also has great slip , a light hold & left my & my 3 daughters' natural hair very nourished and conditioned. Would recommend and will continue to use.
Coming from a stylist this is my go to product. I use cantù faithfully on my daughters hair and now on my nieces hair it works wonders. It moisturizes without the heaviness and never creates any build up. It's affordable and comes in a large quantity that lasts us months.
I really love this rich cream formula and that it can be used as a conditioner, hair mask and leave-in treatment. My dry hair gets straw-like from heat styling, and using this over a week really brought it back to softness & health. It doesn't leave hair oily or greasy. The large plastic container is kind of hard to use in the shower and a bit messy, but overall it's a great value for the size.
First of all, the smell is great! Not at all over powering or weirdly fruity. Great LIGHT consistency and even in a protective style (knotless braids) this conditioner isn't heavy at all. I could feel my scalp drinking it in. Nicely moisturising and doesn't weigh down my braids or leave a white build up. Lovely shine to my braids with this, and not at all sticky. Shockingly it's not greasy at all once applied so I've been able to not have to immediately wash my hair after. I love that it's a leave in, deep condition and a regular conditioner - I deserve versatile products. Can't wait to see how the extra vitamins work out for me, but I need it given my hair is naturally pretty dry. This conditioner seems a little too good to use as "slip" for taking out my braids, indeed I like it as a leave in alone.
Don’t buy from this vendor! I thought I was purchasing through Walmart only. Apparently I didn’t have that option filter on when I added this to my cart. It’s $6.75 for a 2 oz bottle when you can get the 16 oz bottle from Walmart for under $6. Total rip off.
