good quality weight plate! i actually got this plate for an exercise i learned at this awesome gym in godrich!-while it was open-before the pandemic. most of my weights are standard size- but i got this olymnpicsize to do this one exercise- it wasnt cheap but right now no where is. it would have been great if i would have payed more attention to the fine details and the hand grips were lined up better- but still a beauty plate! good quality, all steel, easy to read the weight(im 98% blind...) cant go wrong with these plates
I read some reviews about some minor issues with the finish, but mine are good. I bought 4 and none of them have any problems, the paint is excellent, the only problem for me is that the weight is only in pounds, I hope they make plates in kilos, and maybe another design for the holes would be great to grab and use on many more exercises.
Two pieces of treasures in pandemic days make workout at home essential. Solid quality, coating and easy to grip. I bought this pair to add up with sets of 2 x 25lbs, 2 x 35lbs and 4 x 45lbs in my home weigh room. Prices are more expensive than before, it is understandable during this hard time.
Good quality and coating, a piece of treasure in home gym during COVID-19 pandemic, never easy to shop and order anywhere else. Work out at home, avoid the germs. Delivery was very fast and delivery driver was helpful and on-time.
A couple of month ago, I bought a workout bench and it did'n't have any weights. So I ordered a couple of plates and they fitted well with the bench, now my training is going great
I was extremely happy with the price and that they are grip plates, the only downside and the reason for only 4 star and not 5 is that they need to be filed down in a few spots they are a little sharp in spots. I would still buy them again because its any easy fix.
It was as expected, I was trying to match it with another weight that was the same, and it was close but not exact diameter. Not a huge deal, just not sure why it wouldn't be exact
Covid prices are still in effect it seems but pulled the plug anyway. The casting is rough but the handholes are nice for handling. It fits on my Olympic bar so I guess thats good.
The center holes are are quite a bit larger than 2in and have a loose fit compared to other brands. Also the center holes are rough textured and not round due to casting material spilling over giving an oval shape. The worst part is the grip plate inside edges are very sharp to the point of cut hazards. Expect to file the edges and center holes to smooth out. Paint also arrived damaged with chipping on edges.
Very rough mold on these weights, center holes had to be filed out just to fit on the bar and the hand holes were extremely rough as well, not like the other cap plates I have
