CAP Barbell, 2lb Vinyl-Coated Dumbbell, Single

I bought these to help my 91 year old mother with her rehab. They were like the ones the therapist used with her and enabled her to do a little more "lifting" when the therapist wasn't available.

I thought one pound weights would be a waste. But for the price they are really good. Perfect for early on in therapy when doing long sessions with multiple sets.

i picked the right weight and it fits in my small hands. i need to order a second one. now i get to tone my arms cant wait to start seeing results.

These are a good idea, my Dr wants me to work on my arm strength and by getting just the sizes I need was much easier.

The vinyl coating sticks to my hardwood floor; I have to pull it straight up off the floor. No damage to the floor or dumbbell that I can see, and the coating doesn't feel sticky. But it is strange how it suctions. I will buy more though.

On my exercise DVD's, they recommended 3-5 lb. weights. I didn't think 3 lbs. sounded like much and I contemplated and decided to try the 3 lb. first, and if it felt too light, to go up to 5 lbs. Boy! Am I glad I did that. These 3 lb. weights are really substantial and will start me out just fine. The 5 lb. weights would have been too cumbersome. The weights feel good in my hands, and are made really well. I couldn't believe the price! I am really happy with the purchase and will purchase again when I work up to the 5 lb. weights.

I needed this intermediate weight for a new progressive resistance workout that I am trying and it was just not possible to find twelve pounders in any brick and mortar store. These are very high quality with a nice smooth but sure grip. Delivery was extremely fast and efficient. Could not be more pleased and will be back for more as I add more weight to the routine.

The weight itself is in ok condition, aside from lots of scratches. The sticker put on the middle gripper is glued on. I'm ripping it off in tiny pieces, but it's not all coming off. This makes it a hazard for gripping!

FEELS A LITTLE STICKY MAYBE BETTER FOR GRIP ? OTHERWISE FINE

These were sticky and slimy when I got them, which was gross. I washed them which helped but they're still kind of sticky which might just be the material since I'm used to neoprene weights. I only ordered the 1 pound ones for my 5 and 2 year old to use so they'll work but I'm not a fan of these. I'd pay more for nicer ones if I was going to use them daily.
