Cap Barbell 40-Pounds Cement Dumbbell Set (Black)

Purchased this set of dumbells for my son over christmas time, and actually I purchased them partially for myself as well.. but dont tell anyone! They work great.. only issues I have is my son is unable to change weights very easily due to the grip strength needed to compress the spring to remove weights.

Nice product - a great bang for the bucks! Great adjustable dumbbell. The grip could be better. Great maneuverability and a great workout companion for beginners

Sometimes you get what you pay for and this is one of those times for me at least. The clips aren't the best for this set and causes me to not really use them as alternating dumbbell weights. Rather I am keeping one as one with the smaller and one with the heavier weights.

It's easy enough to adjust the weights. The clamps don't go on completely tight but I'm not concerned with the weights are going to fall off. The clamps are quite tight and difficult to squeeze enough to get on the bar. But the value for the money is good.

using these weights in a work out, be careful not to let the weights roll around the bar. it will pinch and rub blisters on your hand and fingers. otherwise they work as a cheap low end adjustable dumbbell weight.

This works, if you're in the market for it. I ordered this to rehab after a minor stroke that briefly knocked out my left side, later deciding there's better options and submitted a cancelation request less then 12 hours after ordering. I finally got a shipped notice by email 26 hours after submitting the cancelation request. Apparently, Walmart made no attempt to cancel the item and it arrived in a damaged/buldging, masking taped up box. I don't know if all 40lbs can be loaded on one handle, but if so, only do it if you can safely control the weight. Keep in mind the handles weigh about 1lb each, so 2x2.5lb weights plus the handle is 11lbs. New weight-lifters... Read the insert and always keep in mind that weight lifting is about control and safety over speed or weight. A little texture on the haandle grip area would be a good upgrade.

I bought two of these because they were on sale and gave one set as a gift. For the price, they're pretty good but they are flawed. One set had a weight pretty banged up so it has dust/sand that falls out while you use them. I'll probably try super gluing it together to see if that helps but it's an inconvenience and takes away from the set. Otherwise, they look good and are easy to use. Just wish they were a little better quality.

I received my order, and it's honestly a letdown. The packaging was in terrible shape, and it genuinely looks like the product was already used and returned by someone else. If I'd known this was the condition, I'd never have accepted it. Really disappointed in this purchase. Not expected from Walmart .

The order arrived earlier than the estimated time of delivery. All the pieces were included, but were very dirty with scratches as if it was previously owned and used, which could explain the price i got it for. It would had been nice to mention that in the description or name.

The package is broken and the box has been taped in the past. It's been labeled multiple times as well, I am guessing it's a return and resale product
