It is very easy to use. I like the way it slides through my hand and there is no need for gloves with the item. The perfect weight for someone who has just started to work out is this 10 lb. KB I would recommend it to everyone I know that is looking for a great product. The other thing is that I also really like the price that's why Walmart is the place for me to shop no matter what I need they either have on site or you can go online and ship to store for free. Thank you Walmart for being most reasonable on prices. :)
Price is very reasonable and the delivery time was on point. Well made, smooth surface and no wobbles. I like the wide angle handle for two handed exercises and I have large hands. I had also ordered a 20 & 25 pound cast iron kb for me and I primarily got these (2- 10 pound kballs) because they are plastic and lighter for when my kids (10 & ll years old) want to use them. They are heavy enough for me to get a good workout. I like to extend my arms out and raise them up and down (and also holding them in place shoulder height), both in front of me and also on either side. I liked the reviews so that's why I got these. I've had them for about a week and I use them everyday.
The price for this kettlebell was the best I could find. It arrived very quickly and is well made . Included are exercises you can use with it. They include the exact same exercises recommended by my physical therapist. A great buy.
Now I know the difference between the cast iron and the vinyl bells. Feels great, solid, just larger than I expected. Couldn't find CAP in the cast iron for this size, so went with this. Excellent delivery and good product for a great price at walmart.
I love it! it's very fun to use. I normally use it 3 times a week during my workouts. 15lbs is a great weight to gain moderate strength and tone up your body overall
I've been looking for a good kettlebell made of vinyl instead of cast iron because of price and cast iron tends to have rough edges in the handle. This vinyl kettlebell is nice and sleek looking with a smooth comfortable handle. Not too girly looking this 15lb kettlebell has been a great starting weight to start out with. Any lighter would have been too light and I'm pretty small. I'm 5' 4" and weigh 112. I really recommend any women to start out with this weight and brand.
The item is great and easy to handle and maneuver. However, the vinyl especially on one side was extremely damaged and smashed in. The raised letters telling weight etc was completely scraped off,as if it had been grinded down...wondering how a shipping neglect could cause that serious of damage
I was finally ready to upgrade from a 15 pound kettlebell to the 20 pound. Since the vinyl kettlebell was cheaper than the cast iron one, I elected to purchase the vinyl one. Boy, was that a mistake!! The ball is the size of a volleyball!! So unless you have hands that are XXL, you are going to have trouble holding this kettlebell around the bell portion. The handle is easy to hold, but the large bell gets in the way when you lift the bell toward the ceiling. My advice is to spend a little more and get the cast iron one.
This kettle bell is large. I also have a 10lb and 20lb ergonomic kettle bells (another brand-Go Fit) and wanted something in between. As we all know, they aren't cheap so I purchased this one. It's large so that I can not perform certain excercises with it unlike the other bells. If you already have some, this might be ok. However, if you are just starting out, I don't recommend this. I love excercising with kettle bells btw. Also, it does come with a paper insert containing a few more excercises. Many other bells come with dvds.
For 15lbs this thing is huge, it is bigger than my 20lb kettlebell even. I'm tall but small so this just doesn't work for me with most of the things I am doing in my workout. It is like a monster in my hands. My husband is fine with the size and can use it but also agrees that the size for the weight is odd.
