CAP Barbell, 70lb Coated Hex Dumbbell, Single

These are some pretty nice dumbbells. The soft rubber coating is a nice touch but the smell is too overpowering in my home gym. I plan to clean them with a mild household cleaner soon to try to alleviate that odor. I will say that two other people said they didn't notice it much. The medium knurling is nice but I am not a fan of the ergo handle shape. I'd prefer it if it were flat or straight across so I could get a better pulling grip but the ergo shape is fine when pressing. While the weight was not too far off from 70 lbs, the first 2 I received weighed 71.30 lbs. and 68.80 lbs. I did order 4 in total and kept the 2 that were the closest to weighing the same. Those 2 weighed 69.80 lbs. and 69.20 lbs. They arrived fast and I will buy some 80 pounders as soon as my budget allows.

I had priced out 70 pound dumbbell sets on several different websites and found Walmart to offer the most reasonably priced option as well as the best option for delivery. Walmart was able to sell the set of dumbbells for significantly less and deliver the items substantially quicker.

I have been searching for months for get my husband the weights he wanted but the rubber ones were the most expensive so I waited and I am so glad I did. Found these and was so overly pleased with the ordering process the shipping cost the sale price of items and how absolutely great the actual product is. They came double boxed, all in individual packages too. He is thrilled with them. and I am happy with the experience.

Pretty legit. Easy, cheap pricing for a decent piece of quality. This is the standard issue or close to it as I've seen similar qualities but at a much more expensive price. Works for me. I bought 50, 60, 70 lbs and plan on getting 80's and probably more in the future. Keep in mind the carrier that ships it to you may be rough when dropping the dumbbells off. Also, I didn't scale the weight but I'm not as picky with that. As long as they feel heavy. It's fine with me even if slight differences or minor.

It weighs 70lb so it is what it is. But after 50lb they could improve grip. The outer smooth surface is not great when you’re curling or doing hammer curls.

They were just the right price. I really like the ergonomical grip.

No longer stable after just one (barely) drop onto padded floor. Overall they felt great for the first few months of using them. knurling was fine, I don't personally LOVE the ergo grip style but $70 for each dumbbell was a solid deal and I jumped at it. The first time I ever even slightly roughly set them down, like I swung it into its spot under the rack (like a 4 inch "toss") and something broke inside and it's got movement and wobbles when picking it up. It still holds together so I can technically use it but there's definitely a quality issue.

First, let me start by saying that I have ordered many dumbbells from Walmart, and they have all been great. You can't beat the price for most of them here. This time, I ordered 2 pairs. 3 of them arrived on one day, and one arrived the next day. The one that arrived solo is not the best. The area around where it says "70" is worn down, to where the number is not visible. Not the biggest of deals, but bothersome to me. Im trying to decide if I should return it. I can understand how this happens, since it lacked any packaging for delivery. It was as is, with just an address label taped to one end.

I ordered a set for 168 dollars. they sent one out of two . I asked to return it and arranged for pick up. theys promised pick up the NEVER came product still waiting for pick up and will remain there until you pick it up. I have initiated a charge back through my credit card and will not pay for an item that WALMART promised they would pick up. PATHETIC SERVICE!

Ordered them weeks ago, was supposed to get them and haven't. No communication or anything.
