Good quality and lightweight
Grip area with rough surface. Weight is reasonable at 14 pounds. 1 inch weight plate can easily be put on and removed. Paint does chip with use but it is expected.

Great regular/standard weight bar-terrific value!
A really nice regular weight bar! I expected a dull black finish on metal, but was pleasantly surprised to find a thick, durable, smooth black powder coat finish!. The rubber washers even made it with the bar thanks to CAP packing it properly! This was supposed to be a spare bar, but it feels better than my chrome bar and I prefer to work out with it. I'm also starting to appreciate the quality of CAP products.

Shipping Damage
The bar itself is good but the box was damaged in shipping. The end of the bar was exposed and the finish was chipped off on one end. This needs to be packaged better.
