CAP Barbell Chrome Dumbbell with Contoured Handle, Single, 15 lbs

I appreciate shopping through Walmart.com. The order came quickly and best of all, there is no shipping charges! When I need something, I will always check with Walmart.com first to see if they have what I am looking for. There is no better service than they have anywhere. The CAP Barbell Chrome Dumbbells with Contoured Handle was super nice and makes my program of lifting weights exciting with the joy of handling such quality weights! Thanks, Walmart!

This is a really well made dumbbell and looks great. The only CON is that it is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it and will last a long time without chipping or discoloration. I had the same one I purchased about 8 years ago and looks exactly the same condition.

Some of the questions above are Dumb!!! The 5 pound weight does look Great!!! Mine does have a few tiny scratches near the number! I did waste monies in a way since the 3 pounders that cost more each than the 5 pound came back in stock and are due today, maybe. I did NOT like the Packaging!!! I understand why they did it, but when you are over 60 and deal with enough packaging from Grocery store, you do NOT want to go through ALL this cutting and hope you don't cut your hands! I guess I will have to go through the same thing with the smaller ones. When I got to the Brown Paper underneath, it was a Huge Relief!!! I think using the 5 pounder by itself is okay w/the weight, but NOT when you have to use 2 at a time. That is why I ordered the 3 pounders for even exercising of arms. I really don't like Free weights at all and prefer the bands that I used with the Soloflex years back and then the Bowflex years later. The Soloflex worked my legs better and I would buy again, but they are selling about the same price Used! Another thing, it made my body tight, which felt strange back then, but I would love to have that tightness again! Bowflex seemed to be a waste of monies for the price back then. Just pushing Rods!

These dumbbells are a very good quality and will last a life time. I just wish they would make them heavier than 50lbs.

I bought as a teenager many years ago the cheapest, plastic dumbells available, and they were ugly; I hardly, ever used them as a result. Also, they started cracking. I'm so glad that I chose these dumbells now for their durability as well as beauty. They look good on the floor----sleek, contemporary, glossy----- and make me feel like picking them up!

We were looking for some "flashy" dumbbells as a Christmas present for our aerobics instructor. The CAP dumbbells had a great chrome finish to start with. The quality of the finish was excellent and the price of the CAP was very reasonable. With the addition of mirror ball accent band around the circumference of each end gave us the extra flashiness we desired. My only suggestion would be to add a rubber cushion where you grip the dumbbell. It would make it easier on the hands.

One end of the dumbbell was scratched. Returned the very next day. The inside box seal was broken/ripped open. I have other Cap weights bought from other vendors and never experienced these issues
