These weights are a great value. The price is lower than even the bundled products from other websites. The dumbbells don't make noise when they hit each other. A nice bonus is that the handles also contain the same polyurethane product for a soft grip. Good value and good product.

For the price...I really don't think you can beat these. I am beyond pleased! Could you get higher quality? Sure...but come on, look at the price! At first, I could smell them...after about 10 minutes, the smell disapated, and I couldn't smell them at all. The grips are surprisingly nice. I was afraid they might hurt, but neither myself, nor my wife had difficulty with pain from from grip, with heavy weight, or light weight high reps. No complaints! Love them! As a former weightlifter of 15+ years, just trying to get back into the swing of things, I HIGHLY recommend! If you want to start a decent home gym, without having to go to a high priced professional gym, go with these. I bought 5 sets of weights to begin...I am about to order 5 more sets of higher weights!

I definitely recommend these. They're really nice like the ones you find in health clubs. They are great quality and the most reasonably priced hexagon dumbbells you'll ever find. I did find some slightly cheaper hex bells on other sites but you would have to pay just as much for shipping. It's also hard to find some that don't smell, which is another plus with these dumbbells. I'm pretty surprised that some of the other reviewers complained about the grips being uncomfortable. I personally appreciate that they have rubber grips so they wont slip when I sweat. I even bought the heavier ones 25-30 lbs and they felt fine. Either way, I do recommend purchasing some lifting gloves if you find them uncomfortable.

As a female, I was attracted to the colorful dumbbells but changed my mind when I read reviews that they were slippery, dingy or smelly. I finally decided to go with these CAP polyurethane-infused dumbbells. Although they're not colorful, they still have a nice look to them over the plain cast iron ones and they don't smell at all. I also find them comfortable to hold -- a good fit and not slippery. BTW, Walmart had the best price!

Well they are Dumbells. Not much more needs to be said. They are good quality but there grips are a bit ruff on the hands so should be used with work out gloves. Good buy.

I love these. They look really nice and they were at a decent price. I know people have complained about the hand grips..and it doesnt really bother me. I don't have any fear of dropping them and I don't really think about them when I'm working out. The only concern I have is the warning about it being made with materials that can cause cancer and reproduction issues. I'm not really sure what's going on with that( I will need to do more research to see the truth in this) If I would have known about the warning beforehand I wouldn't have bought them. But I'm in love with them now and there's no smell. I also like that they don't make any sound when they hit each other. I will be buying other sizes as well.

Perfect for beginners to experienced weight lifters! The handle is a little different, but isn't bad. The only down side is that it is a little hard to do a pushup while holding on to the dumbbells...isn't too much clearance between you hand and the floor, but otherwise great product and especially for the price!

These dumbbells are the exact equipment my gym use. I know it couldn't be wrong.

The handgrip area has a rubber gripping ring that is narrower than my average-sized woman's palm and therefore the edges of it dig into my hand when lifting. Very uncomfortable. I would not buy again.
