Very sturdy. Easily adjustable. Easy assembly. I put together by myself in half hour.
This bench is awesome I bought it for my wife to use with her dumbbells and was amazed how sturdy it is. Wasn't hard to put together and easily slides when adjusting to different positions. I also bought it for me to use so wanted something heavy-duty as I'm 6'7" and weigh 275 and was impressed how sturdy it is. It looks great too!
WAS EASY TO PUT TOGETHER AND FITS MY NEET TO A "t"
This is a very sturdy weight bench. It's of good quality and workmanship.
This bench was pretty easy to assemble for someone like me who's not very handy. Frame is ultra-sturdy and mechanism to change positions is very easy to operate. Declines to about 25-30 degrees. One issue that other reviewers mentioned...the gap in the pads when doing declines.. I found it best to make sure your butt if far up enough on the flat pat before leaning backwards to do decline presses....so it doesn't get stuck in the gap....very uncomfortable. All in all a great bench for the price. If you've got the patience, the price fluctuates regularly between $83 and $99. Keep you're eye on the price and grab it when it's in the lower part of the range. The padding is not very thick, so if padding is important to you, the York bench at the same price point seems to have better padding.
Assembly was very easy (had my own wrenches & screw driver) and straight forward. Slide adjustment for back support is easy to adjust. I bought it mainly for doing set-ups, at 63 it's getting harder to get up off the floor than it use to be.
I use this for Body Beast workouts. It is light and functional for home use.
As someone diagnosed with back problems when I got older, I purchased this product primarily as a sit up bench allowing me to further recline the angle as my muscle tone developed, but with a set of dumbbells (also from Walmart) I'm getting more of a beneficial workout than I had originally envisioned and it sets up high enough off of the floor where it is easy to stand after using. The bench takes up little room and accomplishes exactly what I hoped it would do and a little bit more.
Was disappointed in the quality of this bench. Not heavy duty. Seat is short and the knob that sets the bench elevation slips and won't hold.
the red bracket that supports the back, the part that holds the adjustment pi in place, this part is square - two opposing sides split on the corners, resulting in me falling backward suddenly.
