This keeps the kneecap secure and lots of support. Most of the others have an opening at the kneecap and not as good when need that support.

Tried and true
I had bought these before at my local store. I needed replacements because knee sleeves don't last long. i had a budget and the other sleeves looked suspicious. They keep my knees warm and provide the support when doing heavy leg training.

Construction does not hold up
In less than a year the interior foam-like (?) material in this sleeve tears apart (it's easy to feel the separation). It turns out the construction -- the foam material between 2 layers of stretchy fabric -- is no substitute for neoprene and just doesn't hold up from normal use and washing.
