CAP Barbell Olympic Rubber Encased Commercial Grip Plate, 10 Pounds

After having a gym membership for years & years, I decided to get a home gym system with everything I needed. It didn't come with weights so after doing a lot of online research I went with these. I bought the 5, 10, 25, & 35 lb ones & they are all great quality. Just like the ones at the gym & the easy grips are nice. Walmart had the best prices for rubber encased weights & the free shipping to my local store made it an even better deal. Highly recommended.

Very nice weight plates. Keep my home gym looking neat and organized. The handles make the plates easiet to handle as well. Very much recommended.

I like these barbell plates because they are rubber encased so they won't damage surfaces if dropped. Walmart has the best price on these plates for filling in my collection.

I bought these because the lightest plates my gym has are 5lbs and a 10lb jump is too much for most exercises. I paid just over 10 bucks, including shipping, and for what I received, this could only be a five-star review. The plates are decent quality, fit the bars in my gym perfectly, and fit my needs exactly. I like the fact that they're rubber-coated - it makes them easier to pick up, and leads to less clanking in my gym bag. I've read other reviews complaining about the smell of some rubber-coated training products (not sure if this item has had one of those), and these do smell of rubber a little, but they stay in my training bag if they're not out at the gym, so that is irrelevant to me. Overall, very good value and highly recommended.

It has this rubber smell, but I believe it will eventually go away due to it being new, just wash it with pine sole and you good. Great product.

As described and not a lot else to say about it. Be aware that it will have a very strong smell from the coating when you first open it. The smell has mostly gone away after a week or so outside, but it does stay on your hands a little after using it.

They fit the bar very snugly and are very stable for the deadlift. But they made my basement smell crazy bad. Kept the door open for a weekend and burnt some scented candles in my manly gym dungeon for a few hours. Still has that odor. But they do the job they were made for quite well.

I'm happy with my purchase! I created my own little gym in my back yard and got the rubber encased ones so it wouldn't rust and it would last longer. These aren't the best weights I've ever used. The octagon shaped ones would be better. The quality of the rubber aren't the best, but overall good weights. When I got my weights they felt oily for some reason. I'm gonna have to wipe down my whole set with soap and water.

This plate is a good tool to use with my weight bar however I had to return it because the rubber odor was so bad that I couldn't stand it.

The rubber used in this product is of very poor quality, possibly cured with sulphur and petroleum derivates. The plates smelled terrible an emitted this over powering odor to all rooms in my home, despite being washed several times. I returned these plates and the employee who took them back turned his head and stated they smelled terrible.
