I look for this item in other stores could not find it. The sale price was reasonable.

Like everyone else used to lifting in a gym, I was scrambling to put together a set of dumbbells. These work! I bought 4 sets at a local Walmart store together with weights. I keep them assembled and have a set of dumbbells up to 35s on hand with the capacity to add weight. You do need to be mindful of the ends of the dumbbell being longer than a pre-made dumbbell and lift accordingly. However, for the money, these are a great value.

I already had one of these so I knew what I was getting. The price is great, the quality is great, and it's easy to use. I wanted to have different weight amounts without having to take 1 set of weights off and replace them with 2 other weights. If using for 2 handed curls I recommend getting some gloves because grabbing the outside handles can be a little uncomfortable bare-handed. The center is fine without gloves.

I totally would've given this five stars but I didn't realize how heavy they were going to be. So they do make the weights feel heavier then im used to. But other then that i do love them

Its not inherently a bad handle. the thing is ,me and my brother lift heavy with these. in doing so we sometimes drop the weight. these cannot take a beating, we are on our second pair, because the grip part is just rubber and it gets torn and ripped from the edges leaving it hard to grip and hard for the locks to stay secured and end up spinning loose with every curl, if you need a starter kit these are just fine. but if you lift daily AND heavy i dont recommond, i recommond all metal ones, just think of it as " you lift so heavy you need better equipment!!" congrats! lol

These dumbbells did not last long. If you do not tighten enough the weights will move. If you overtighten the collar moves inward and eventually breaks. Once it moves inward there is no moving it back out where it should be. This may not be a problem for lighter weights as it did not seem to have problem until I placed more than 40 pounds on them. Either way you should be able to tighten it without it going bad with bunched up collar pinching the webbing between the thumb and forefinger like it did me. The metal itself us durable but the rubber collar is ruins the value of it. I will be replacing them with solid metal dumbbells.

The rings are weak the first time I used it the ring slipped even with the rubber grip
